All that was missing was the Avengers theme from the movie baaaa-ba-ba-ba-ba-baaaaa-ba-ba. I'm all for it and as far as Godzilla's new color and spiral beam or his version of the Special Beam Cannon only one that comes close to that is a old Godzilla movie Godzilla vs Destroyer where his body was breaking down and his beam had the spiral in it.

Godzilla has changed colors before whenever he’s gone through a power upgrade. He was all red in Godzilla versus destroyer and had an upgrade in the previous movie. So I imagine that’s what’s going on here, a power upgrade.

This looks absolutely awesome and so much fun. Godzillas had multiple designs and atomic fire colors. I’m digging the pink and his new design. Kong looking more grey and older. This could be where Kong gets his King. And they’re throwing in son of Kong? Scar King and that bone whip. God this looks great haha.

The reason Godzilla has a magenta glow and new spikes because it’s a homage to his early 2000’s counterpart who was dark green and had purple spikes in at least one movie called “Godzilla vs Megaguris”

shimu the first titan, the creator of the ice age, is controlled by scar king the orange ape basically bitch slaps both godzilla and kong, kong gets his arm broken hence the metal brace and godzilla undergoes evolution absorbing the pink radiation from the temple and they emerge for round 2.

I don't know if anyone will get this reference but the colors and the crystals in the hollow Earth really remind me of Ikoria from Magic the Gathering. Which itself was inspired by Godzilla, and even had a few cards with alternate art featuring Godzilla monsters.

I love that this whole time, Hollywood has been trying to make serious Godzilla and Kong movies with mixed results, while Japan has been doing silly Godzilla/Kong stuff, also with mixed results. Now we've switched it and I think I love it. Japan makes the serious ones and Hollywood makes the fun ones!

This is the right attitude to have. Godzilla movies have always ranged from serious to silly, and the fact that we're getting both within a year is just great! I love the Hollow Earth stuff in the Monsterverse and we're going to get a metric butt ton of it in this movie. It's a great way to bring in new and hopefully more of the old monsters too.
