Big fan of coin games. Problem is gettinf 4 players together for a nigjt of gaming. Was looking at nevsky for a 2 player game and this series made me buy the game. Thnaks a lot. Good channel, will check other content from you.

Great playthrough. Made some interesting choices and that's always fun when playing solo just to see what happens. Plus the new deckbuilding system looks like a good match for this game. Your editing combined with the new rig is really working well to put the focus on what's being shown at a given moment. Really clear!

Great playthrough! Only the fact that I doubt I would get it played and I've already bought a bunch of wargames that I don't know if I will ever get played has kept me from buying this. It looks fun.

I've started Hethwill's Rule of 3. Play 3 games, then buy 1. I think Nevsky has sold out at a good number of places now too. I know it's gone from GMT's site as of a couple of weeks ago.

nevsky!!! i went straight to your finale haha, but ill watch the others too. comment on gameplay- your last move of knud and abel was to forage in ravaged neva, you cant forage in a ravaged area. regarding campaign balance, the game is balanced for the long campaign and you will find the early mini campaigns favouring the teutons and the late late mini games favouring the russians. regarding seasons, winter can be challenging but the real sh*th*le is raspituta. it is so hard to move in that season. regarding capabilities/events, some people find them too powerful ( I find them just right for the theme) so I think Rhunke toned them down in almoravid. again my fave game atm :)

Great demo of a great game. I love the pace of your playthroughs. Out of interest, do you record off the cuff or pre-plan a move and your commentary before pressing record.

Thanks, Joe, glad you enjoyed it! I don't script anything for the videos, so everything spoken is pretty much off the cuff. Sometimes I'll get halfway through something though and realize it doesn't make sense or is too long, and I'll just start over for that piece. I do cut out a good bit of parts where I'm thinking. (I sometimes mention this.) So, in this game, if a lord activated and I wasn't sure what I want to do with them, I might cut out a minute or two where I'm thinking silently. Sometimes, though, I'll just think out loud and run with it. And I do spend some time between episodes pondering what one side or the other might do, or try to do. Long answer to a short question, but I hope it helps. :)

I think so, yes, and I feel like I'm about 80% of the way ready. But I want to play a couple more 2-player games, try the full scenario, and then a couple more of the smaller ones. But my overall feeling is very positive about the game and the series. Really creative and fun.
