Some famous shodo master shows artwork in gallery using ONLY thick strokes Everyone else: "Wow what a master... that is some godly shit right there" I do it... Everyone else: "Meh... you need to practice your thick thin balance"

Do you buy those sheets with the squares already printed on them? or do you printed them yourself? and is that rice paper? Thanks ^^

Abraham V. It is just normal paper to practice writing with balanced kanji size. That is what those red lines are for, and form what I can tell those are not Japanese practicing papers, I think it is Chinese.
