Can you post what hair care/styling products you use and what is the hairdryer brand? Also what is your natural level? 5 or 6?

I just added the styling products and blow dryer that I used in this video to the description! And my natural level is a 6 throughout my hair, and a 7 at my hairline.

Curious of your opinion on Pravana high lifts? I tried their cool violet on my LV 6 base and got beautiful color with exception of a purple hairline! Thank you for giving me the confidence to try high lift again ❤

I’ve noticed with pravana hi lift particularly that different levels will react very differently. The hairs at your hairline are typically a level lighter and they’re also much finer so they’ll process quicker. So those hairs sucked up the violet because they lifted lighter than the rest of the hair! You could try using their pale violet on your hairline, or applying it halfway through your process time so it’s not sitting on for as long! The violet should fade quickly but you could also hit it with some dawn dish soap to speed up the fading!

I definitely want a dark ash blonde without bleach

You can try using Wella hi lift and if it’s still too orangey you can tone down! Just know that if you’ve used permanent color previously it won’t do anything when the hi lift is applied

Hi there, beautiful colour!! Can you tell me what your natural base colour is please? Also what wella product was it please and what does double 40 developer mean? Thank you xxx
@haveagoodhairday2 ай бұрын
Thank you! The formula is in the beginning of the video, I don’t remember it off the top of my head! My natural level is a 6. I recommend watching my part 1 to this video that is linked in the description here if you haven’t yet for more of how it works! Double 40 means 2 parts 40 volume developer, 1 part color.

I believe she is using Wella koleston perfect me permanent color. The colors are 12/07, 12/96, and 00/11. Double developer just means you are using double the amount compared to you amount of hair color. For example if you are using 1 oz of hair color you will use 2 oz of developer.

This time I used 0.11 but sometimes I use equal parts of 12.11, 12.07, and 12.96!
