She takes accountability but is keenly aware of how her mother’s actions impacted her childhood and subsequent decisions. I'm so annoyed with the people saying that she holds herself accountable... Her favorite line is "Remember, I did not commit the crime, Nich did. He could have made a better decision, I know I asked him to do it but I am not a murderer, I could never had done that, I'am just an accessory" This rhetoric is so stupid and this is EXACTLY why she asked the guy who hear voices to do it!! It sounds just like if she pulled a gun trigger then said "I know I pulled the trigger but I didn't kill my mom, the gun did" its just as stupid... People are falling for her manipulations. She's fame and money hungry and it's given to her on a platter. If she came out and lived a quiet, discreet lifestyle out of the limelight I could have trusted her more. Gypsy is like her mother... both smart and troubled.

I was really uncomfortable with the question about Gypsy’s first experience of sexual intimacy with her husband. I wondered why this is something we feel we have a need or a right to ask of someone. If she had offered to share this of her own volition, that would be different. This is coming from someone who is very open discussing and engaging sexually. But this oh so vulnerable moment of coming together of two people, especially one with Gypsy’s past of being sexually exploited -it’s not our business to ask to be privy to the story. It is a miracle that someone from this small town from this dysfunctional family who was put in an impossible situation at such a young age came through it with such grace, such a grasp on her situation. She OWNS her accountability, seems so incredibly kind and sweet and down to earth, communicates so clearly and with humility and poise and ease despite everything she has been through. I find so much joy in her freedom that now gives her a platform to share her perspective and her candidness. She deserves to be recognized and forgiven and appreciated for all the light and awareness she will bring to MPB and its victims.

Gypsy is doing so well and I'm so proud of her and hapoy for her. I am so scared for Gypsy though in terms of Ryan. Ryan definitely gives off obsessive "if I can't have you no one can" vibes. She was unsure about the marriage and he forced her hand while in prison. When you "love" someone you do what makes them COMFORTABLE. He pitched a hissy fit over possible delaying the marriage, refused to consider just getting to know each other outside of prison and have the marriage later at the advice of her family and Gyspy herself during the documentary. When she asked for an annulment he said, "Well we're married now so👹🤭🤷🏽♀️". Since the annulment atory got leaked, its reasonable to consider Gypsy may now feek obligated to prove everyone wrong and atay out of spite. Women do this all the time, stay in uncomfortable situation because everyone else is looking for them to fail. He had love at "first sight" seeing her during the trials on TV when she was looking like a 13yr old... child😬. If he was in a healthy place with her and not obsessed, he would have not forced the marriage period. I'm quite sure he otherwise can be a very down to earth decent guy. But when you become dangerously obsessed with someone like he is, she's now for the 3rd time being held hostage.

I feel she needs to take more responsibility for the death of her mother. She is the reason her mother is dead, Nick wouldn’t have done it if Gypsy didn’t insist on it. Gypsy Rose was tormented & tortured, physically, mentally and emotionally, from the moment she entered this world, by the one person on this earth that should have protected and cared for her. Her understanding and ability of being able to tell right from wrong HAD TO BE skewed beyond recognition at the time she was involved in the planning of this crime. She did her best in finding herself and healing herself in prison. That should tell everyone all you need to know about how bad her life was before she was sent to prison, if prison was where she matured and healed. The idea she doesn’t still hold any ill will towards her mother is simply amazing. I am wishing her all the best in the world, she deserves to live a peaceful life, for the first time in her life. She deserves any attention she wants too. She mostly deserves for people to stop judging her as if she’s some character in their favorite TV show, she’s a real person, not a character you get to control. She doesn’t owe any of you any-damn-thing. This young woman has the world ahead of her now, and I hope beyond all hope she makes the best of it.

ACTUALLY it is the total opposite for me . I wonder if her upbringing was as bad as she says because she sounds very confident and well spoken here , inquisitive etc....You just don't change your entire personality in prison for 8yrs surrounded by mostly people lying, conniving, stealing, backstabbing, scamming, harmful , killing etc...and come out a new solid person . It seems she has had some , atleast , home schooling and made to feel confident, well spoken and intelligent ....that just doesn't come from doing time surrounded by felons .

She’s really leaning on the fact that she wasn’t the one holding the murder weapon. Either way she is still a murderer and I can’t believe how many people are glorifying her and putting her up on a pedestal. I think she’s a professional criminal and con artist and I wouldn’t be surprised if we eventually find out she only got into her relationship just to use someone as a crutch to do interviews and manage her career.
@AyitaIam8 ай бұрын
I agree 100% and the fact that u are the only other person I have seen feel the same way as me really scares me how easily people can be fooled and manipulated. Time will tell , but her saying how shy she is and how she hates attention after seeing her in literally almost everything and interviewing with everyone proves her wrong. Her mother was abused, she was abused, and I get that, but instead of quietly living her life and getting real therapy she needs , she immediately hits social media and everyone applauds her for it. I don't get it at all.

Accessory to murder= murderer. Lets face facts had she not asked Nick to kill her mom it wouldn't have happened. Had she not got the bus ticket for him to come, the knife, the gloves etc her mother would not have been murdered. She is just as responsible for the crime as Nick is. Even if she didn't do the stabbing. What happened to Gypsy at the hands of her mom was horrible. I have so much empathy for her. I really do wish nothing but good things for her now that she has paid for her crime. But I am confused how a person can move on and improve themselves and claim they have taken accountability when they refuse to admit they did the crime they were convicted of.

@ljcirilo5761 noone is saying she wasn't abused. The confusion for some of us is her willingness to put it all on Nick when some of us have seen the interrogations, read transcripts and know she was trained well by her mom to lie to get attention. She needs intense therapy, not to be a social media icon.

I LOVE the way she answered the question about Nick. If she asked a normal person to kill her mom for her, they wouldn't do that. I know I wouldn't even if I loved Gypsy, I'll try to figure out a common sense solution. She said he has dark fantasies that he wanted to live out and he's now paying the consequences for them. As for her, I truly believe she had a young mind and couldn't comprehend the seriousness and awfulness of killing another person, and she does say she wishes her mom never died, so she seems like she finally matured and become self-aware.
