Don't matter if it has 750hp or 1750hp it's pointless. FWD so no traction. Only way to utilize all that power is on slicks on a prepped track surface. You and I both know a 400HP 911 will rape this thing from any kind of race. Straight line, on a road course, on a drag strip, from a dig, from a roll.

@@Bladesje AutoX is just about the only thing that power/weight balance is neutralized I think. Hell, I've seen weaker "hot hatches" keep up with a GTR and 911s in tight canon carving areas. My point was 750hp in this car seems to be ridiculously overpowered for its drivetrain. Even Supras MK4 have trouble putting that kind of power down. Of course I could be wrong but I've seen videos where cars are breaking traction when they have too much power without proper support mods like I mentioned before.

Interesting. The first was replaced around 75k with a used one under warranty plan. That one had a sticky second gear by 100k, but i drove it to 180k. I didn’t mash gears, and rev matched.

Mario DANTAS well the speed 3 and 6 have the same engine. Both gear boxes have 1st and 2nd forged gears. The transfer case is also quite strong. It too might be forged as well. It has been known to handle 800 whp.

Lee O 'b for sure keep the stock sleeves. And for sure keep the stock crank. No need to key it. People have made 700whp on stock sleeves and no keyed crank, with zero issues. It won’t hurt to do those things but just a waste of money if you are shooting for anything under 800. 500 would be quite reliable with those options.

It has turbo lag. It’s a ball bearing turbo, which helps a lot but with a turbo of that size it’s going to have some sort of lag no matter what!

Geronimo Jr you are never supposed to use a banjo bolt. If the turbo is smoking it means it needs to be replaced. Some people swear by using it on the stock turbo. I personally think you should just get a new turbo

Cool car, though not my preference. It's over-turbo'd, which makes turbo response slow and lazy, and then when it hits it's too much to put to the ground. I prefer something that's much more responsive and in the 500-550whp range, like a Gen 2 5558. That's a better overall match for the driving dynamics of the Speed 3 chassis. That's the plan for my 2010.
