►MX World Season 1 is here, with new episodes every Friday. Set notifications on and get your motorbikes ready!
The mission of the MXGP series is to bring the sport of motocross to every corner of the globe. Expanding to new markets does come with a price, but the cost of finding passion for motocross in territories that no one else dares to explore is ultimately worth the effort. The next Jeffrey Herlings or Antonio Cairoli may very well exist in remote nations like Indonesia, Argentina and Turkey. Without exposing the MXGP’s to these countries, we will never know the sports true potential.

This series is great. I've never been exposed to MXGP, only US motocross. And in 3 episodes I'm becoming a huge fan. Hope more seasons to come after this.

This video made me cry. I lost my son years ago but had always dreamed of teaching him how to ride and to follow in my Motocross tracks. Beautiful video! Thank you.

Awesome episode! I have so much respect for the people of Turkey, beside the fact that they welcomed MX racing and Hard Enduro, they are warm, progressive thinking, compassionate and always ready to help.

Prado's father mentioned something I've wondered about in the past. What level of medical care can a country like Turkey provide? In a sport like this, it can literally be a matter of life or death. Does the series have plans in place to be able to quickly fly a rider to a location where they have top trauma surgeons? In a place like Turkey, the culture has to be taken into consideration as well. Not only will culture affect medical care, but legal issues could also arise. Muslim cultures are very "conservative", and things that westerners would find totally normal could be a serious crime there. I was listening to the Pulp MX podcast recently and Jason Thomas was talking about his experience at a race in turkey. He said safety was another issue. It's pretty sketchy over there.

@@joeshmoe12301230 I live in Turkey. (Actually the city of Afyon was lack of conditions about 10-15 years ago but these days it is incredibly good. (I was also thinking that MxGP of Turkey will be a big fail, but it didnt. The parkour Padock area and track's location were very good. It is located in the middle of the city. 5 mins walk-way to the Termal Hotel and 10 mins to the Hospital by car. )

There will most probably be a few private hospital with dr educated in UK or US , I think you would be surprised about what skill level is offered and how much better it is then the western world with waiting lines.

All of these Red Bull videos are awesome and hope you do one for Day in The Dirt

Moto Essence man I wish I could tell you but I don't even pay attention to the numbers. It was one of the ones when they were talking a lot about the upcoming MXON, which let them into conversation about MXGP. Maybe like 3-4 episodes before MXON. I COULD look through the old podcasts to see if anything jogs my memory, like a certain guest or something. Sorry man.

It’s hard for for MX culture to penetrate Muslim countries, due to the very different views about equality, safety and very importantly, the strict ban of women joining the sport. There are cultural differences that simply cannot be embraced. Say what you want and be as politically correct as you want, but we all live under the same sun and still there are people that think otherwise. Turkish racers complain about the difficulties but at the end of the day it’s in their power to change all this. THEY have to adapt, not us. Period

For all they care they will host a Gp at Chernobyl or Fukushima as long as they will get money out of it they don't give 2 fucks about either the riders nor the teams
