9 pounds at hot idle ain’t terrible.

Everything in this video is awesome. Also, I have a stock 79 ford with the original exhaust (catalytic converter included) and Im looking to replace it because it is completely roached around the bend above the axle. Im wondering how big of a difference chopping the cat off and putting a nice muffler on it would make on how it runs, because I dont feel competent enough to mess with the carb myself and I dont know of anyone who can. Do you think just putting a new exhaust on would be fine and not worrying about anything else? Not sure if this makes total sense because its a bit of a ramble. Thanks!

Lot of woman in those blue jeans! Sic rigs and I'm digging the modern open wheel roadster look. Man oh man have they taken transmissions to new high's with .5 sixth gear, running 2.73 rears that old pony could fly if it had wings and ailerons on the doors to make it come down where you point it. Craig, is the bottom of your 302 coming loose? I thought I heard you say nine pounds oil pressure.... might roll some incerts in and put a LPHV oil pump in to get a few more out before a out of frame rebuild... just saying, nice rides all the way
