Today I want to show you an altogether different side to Bangkok than the Khaosan road, the shopping malls and the glitz of the Sukhumvit Road!
Today I headed to a little backstreet community in Bangkok’s Talat Phlu area to get what could be the best value Pad Kaprao in the city as well as one of the most unique, delicious Tom Yum noodles I’ve had in Bangkok. This is Thai street food at its finest in Bangkok!
First we headed to Khao Klom Kaprao for some 29 baht - £0.84 / $0.94 Pad Kaprao which was unreal for the price. It’s even cheaper if you don’t get an egg at 29 baht

Next up it was doen the soi for some unbelievable tom yum noodles at Pee Nam Waan Kuay Teow Tom Yum for 50 THB a large bowl - £1.16 / $1.31
