I love Mark’s friendship with Donnie. Donnie has this cool confidence where he is so straight but when he’s around Mark he’s a little goofy silly which I’m sure doesn’t happen when he’s hanging out with other straight friends of his. I have some friends like this and it’s so fun to see them let their guard down in the company of a gay person. I have to assume this isn’t all that uncommon. Mark seems so grounded, or that’s what he shows us anyway. Great channel.

I am about to take that step. I want to break free. I'm being abused mentally, physically and I can't do it anymore. My partner threatens me with committing suicide if I leave. He pulls a knife by his throat or arms. I freak out and I almost pass out. I feel like is my job to keep him alive. You do the same thing I do, look at houses online but I do it as part of my vocation because I design homes and have been into it since I fell into the basement of the house being built next door when I was 5. I pick up a few ideas along the way but mostly see what not to to :-) PS: love the shade of your nail polish.

I check out houses I can't afford too. or that are more than I need, etc. its both fun and Depressing! I also love Joe and Ryan! Joe seems to have an energy youd really vibe with, and Ryan, as a chef, has mad skills. Glad you found them. as for the Alone thing... I do want someone i can be alone with. As a man in my late 30s, 95% of my friends are all married off, so I am just really... alone. Its hard to meet people as an unattractive gay male anywhere, let alone in NYC. Sometimes it makes me want to give up, but you can't force yourself on someone or someone on yourself so... just keep trucking I guess. Anyways... Hope you continue to be well!

I love the concept of tiny houses. just as much space as one needs, but - for me please - without much multy-function/rearranging rooms. (I like everything to have its place). Recently found tis video from George Dunnett here on YT called "I Bought an Abandoned Tiny House" and I love it. I personally would need a tad more storage and a larger desk/office/gaming area though^^' I feel like as a (modest) single person I need about 1m² per year of age (I'm 32 now^^'). Hi Mark, what you describe with the two introverts side by side, but doing their own thing, has a term in child development called Parallel Play. Two separate entities, doing there own thing, they may look over at each other and even get some inspiration, but they maintain their individual pursuits and objectives and carrying out their own isolated actions none the less. It is perfectly acceptable to say adults are doing Parallel Play without the implication that it’s childish or child like, it’s just a psychological term originally applied to toddler and preschool children.

here's a tip hanging artwork. Use Command Strip velcro. You can reposition as much as you want and when you remove the artwork, it leaves no damage to the wall. They can hold up to 15 lbs or more, depending how many strips you use.
