the amount she was claiming for art supplies for the paintings that were destroyed was more than what she was saying the paintings were worth. She highlights this and that is why she dismissed that and she had no evidence to support the cost. If she had a receipt for art supplies or something, it would be different but like everything else, there was no evidence and she was just making stuff up to pad her claim. Then there is also the matter of the artwork being illegal. Copyright is when you use more than 10% of the original, and Bart Simpson was definitely more than 10%, so to come to court and expect compensation the doctrine of clean hands comes into it.

Wow, there is a few things wrong with the plaintiff, and I am left to question so much of it... 1. If she is renting a room, why is she allowed to claim all the common area hallways and the guest bedroom as her own space without asking permission from the lady whom she is renting from? On that behalf, what gives her the right to start a pet care business? 2. Why is she living there so long when all is going downhill? With her testimony claiming her witnesses did not see it as a problem, her sporadic behavior, and dying her "therapy dog" mustard yellow, I have to question the severity of what happened vs the drama in her head (like all the yelling ending up being her thinking mad voices are pointed at her.) 3. She is stealing copywrited artwork and selling them, then bringing it to court... Is there not a law about unclean hands? (And yes, I know the transformative rule, but I have seen the Pinochio drawing from beside the Bart painting in a colouring book, and she admits she is drawing characters she has no license to draw)

Judge Judy would mop the floor with this judge, who keeps interrupting and talking over the plaintiff who clearly has anxiety/emotional distress. The judge keeps barking at her and demands pictures and documents rapid fire while the plaintiff is still trying to retrieve documents (one-handed, as she’s holding the leash in the other hand) for the judge previously requested. The judge ignorantly labels the dog a service animal (even though it clearly is an ESA animal), and intimidates the anxious plaintiff and doesn’t give her the chance to correct the judge that the dog is ESA. Then the judge insinuates the plaintiff is a liar when she says her ESA dog wasn’t welcome at alternative apartments when she was looking for alternative housing on short notice due to crazy defendant ( btw landlords can reject an ESA animal, even if the ESA animal was recommended by a doctor or therapist). BOTTOM LINE: if plaintiff has a room right next door to the kitchen, and the defendant/lease owner is going into the kitchen at all hrs of the night and yelling/slamming dishes around from frustration at dirty other roommates, of no fault of the plaintiff, disrupting the sleep of the plaintiff who’s in school and needs rest for her anxiety, causing her grades to suffer, that alone is cause for the defendant to be sued.
