The plaintiff says her cousin, the defendant, stole her dog, so she’s suing. The defendant claims their aunt originally owned the dog and gave the pup to him when she could no longer care for him. Besides, the defendant argues that the plaintiff doesn’t have the necessary space to take care of a dog.

True his attitude is so bad and his g/f now knows it. Most importantly regarding Noodle, the verdict was correct because the dog has been in a good home for 7 months. It's not good to keep shuffling a dog to multiple new homes.

Here is what people missed. The lady said "We had Noodle and we brought another dog in, and it didn't get along with Noodle so we had to get rid of Noodle" or something along those lines. To me, NOOOO, you don't get rid of the dog that you had for six years and is being attacked by the new dog, you return the new dog and respect that it was there first. That is what the judge should have asked, "You mean to tell me, you had Noodle for six years, you got rid of Noodles because a new dog was attacking him?"

@@angelanelson2275 How can you be so sure of that?? If that couple live together, which it sounds to me like they do, from the defendant bragging about how he makes so much more money to give the dog a better home and the fact that the Aunt signed the dog over to him on their notorized agreement but the dog is legally registered in the girlfriend's name. And if his behavior and treatment of his cousin, the Plaintiff, is any sort of representation of how he really is as a person and the girlfriend accepts that behavior by staying with him... In my opinion, they are too immature, selfish, and cruel and are probably not the best pet owners. Just like the Judge said, the amount of money you make is completely irrelevant and doesn't determine how you care and provide for your animal. That couple are just nasty people and it shows. To treat your family member like that, create all of this drama between your family and, even worse, to find it amusing and was seemingly enjoying the Plaintiff's desperation and heartbreak... Truly awful. I just pray that they do actually give that dog a good home but my hopes aren't too high for that, unfortunately.

Nah, you sound just as demented as the defendants. I have a feeling you are just as psychotic or... you're just part of that family. There's a reason why 99% of the comments were sympathetic towards her and think the rest did her dirty. She did want the best for the dog, hence her keeping the dog in a place that had more room. Times are tough, and she was in a rough spot in her life. That doesn't mean it was OK for her family to give away her dog. They won because all paperwork and the such were in her aunt's name, when she should have did everything herself (bought the food, went to the vet, etc) to show she owned the dog. Her trust in her family screwed her over. But even the judge understood, how evil the defendants were (which adds to how ignorant your thought process is, if you agree with that side). @@samgardner4667

I felt like that too, but the bigger picture is that the dog is in a better place. Even though the defendant guy is a pos, him and his gf are taking care of the dog. And my heart goes out to the plaintiff girl, but I think her grandmother was right, she had a lot on her plate. Hopefully the plaintiff makes peace with the decision. It didn’t matter how long they were telling her she could have the dog, they really didn’t want her to have noodles. She wasn’t the best candidate due to her circumstances.

She did nothing for a year. She had time to get “her dog” and she didn’t make any effort to do that. The cousin isn’t a peach himself. But she made no effort over the course of a year to do anything. And a real greyhound shouldn’t live in a trailer. They need space. That’s a worse environment than where he came from

The best interest of the dog is most important. The young lady loves the dog, but she lives in a trailer with her son and other animals. If she loves this dog, she would let him go.

True but that was at the previous home because the clueless aunt/granny failed to socialize Noodle with the other dog. The girlfriend gave him a great new home for 7 months. @@MusicTennis it was also noted that the plaintiff, her partner, and their child lived in a room with various caged pets. That's to what I was referring. She never really cared for the dog she visited the dog all the time yes but care for the dog not really because the dog lives with the grandma and she didn't have a home for her her child or the dog so how was she going to take care of that animal even when she had the paperwork like she said she could have put it in the other grandma's house but in the very beginning she stated that she did not want to bring it to that other grandma's house because there was too much things going on between her and Grandma so how are you going to bring it to the other grandma if like none of it makes sense cuz in the beginning we have a great relationship me and my aunt we're all clothes yada yada yada and then all of a sudden it's oh she's manipulative she's emotional she's this she's that I can't have a really close relationship if the person is a narcissist is really no such thing as a close relationship there's also no way that she could take care of a child and a dog and not have a home unless that dog was a service dog or a support dog then she could not bring it to a shelter if she had to go to get herself a home like yes he is a a-hole we all understand that but where was that dog going to be at if she doesn't have a house including when like I keep on stating that type of breed of dog cannot stay in one room all the time and that's exactly what that dog was doing that dog was not getting the love or attention or space that that dog really need it and now that he is look at the dog now he is smiling ear-to-ear he is happy he is great and if they was really close and relationship it didn't matter where that dog was at because as long as they had a good relationship she would have still been able to visit the dog but apparently they never had a good relationship which means that they both lied in the beginning talking about they had a okay or good enough relationship cuz if that was the case you could visit the dog at all times including when you don't have a home
