She can't, but the fun thing is that he gets a copy of the People's Court video, the video of her false accusation, Police reports of her neglect, and seems to be quite responsive to what his lawyer says. All those together, he's getting a pretty thick evidence folder to share with the custody judge to disprove her eligibility as primary custody. His conviction does look bad, but as long as he can show that he now keeps his nose clean, he's looking like roses by comparison.

The plaintiff was a fool for filing this case. The defendant made a smart move by bringing his attorney. Thank God for the cameras. Unfortunately most men in this case would have had to plead guilty and take a plea deal bc they didn't have evidence like this to prove innocence. She knew calling the cops on him was going to make trouble for him. She knew. And he knows that she's a handful so he does stuff like keeping her shit in storage to try and keep the peace. I think he should file for full custody of his kid and let her have visitation cause at this point it's obvious she's using the kid as some sort of "keep him around".

The judge lacks real world understanding of family court. It can take months before a judge places an order, meanwhile he was absolutely correct in getting a police report every time she refused him the right to see his child.
