The plaintiff says the defendant is her ex-boyfriend, who tossed all her belongings into the street and ruined everything she owns. She’s suing him for the value of the stuff. The defendant says he told the plaintiff to pick up her stuff over and over again, and he even tried to protect it with tarps and bubble wrap. He’s countersuing for legal fees.

Finally a case where someone can prove their case! The plaintiff was clearly a woman scorned and she was totally wrong for filing a false police report. That false report could have ruined his life had he not had proof. If I was him I’d wear a bodycam at each exchange with son and make sure that videos are also present because his ex cannot be trusted

Did yall see the size of stack of paper on the defendant 's hands? Dude was prepared. Also, at some point the judge calls him stupid for storing his ex stuff after this incident, to which he replies: "we have a son together". Honestly, that was humbling, and this dude deserves to be recognized for that, instead of simply being called stupid. She can't, but the fun thing is that he gets a copy of the People's Court video, the video of her false accusation, Police reports of her neglect, and seems to be quite responsive to what his lawyer says. All those together, he's getting a pretty thick evidence folder to share with the custody judge to disprove her eligibility as primary custody. His conviction does look bad, but as long as he can show that he now keeps his nose clean, he's looking like roses by comparison.

The plaintiff was a fool for filing this case. The defendant made a smart move by bringing his attorney. Thank God for the cameras. Unfortunately most men in this case would have had to plead guilty and take a plea deal bc they didn't have evidence like this to prove innocence. Not sure if its common for lawyers to let clients work off their bill however this lawyer was an absolute blessing to him! So happy with the verdict.
