ah i see we have some new people here that don’t know my background with anxiety and mental health😏i have shared my story many times and you can find it in many vids. if you don’t like someone who is open about mental health this is NOT the channel for you lol. i will never stop talking about mental health and hide my problems from the internet because it makes people uncomfortable. I have tried therapy (it was like eh for me. it’s hard to find a therapist i like for longer than a month lmao) and shared why I went off my meds which I don’t HAVE too explain to anyone but I choose too bc it helps others to know they aren’t alone. don’t comment about things that you don’t know about and assume bc it honesty just makes you look pretty silly. love you

Boo to those people. Who would have a problem with you sharing your anxiety issues? I love your honesty. I just wish you had a better time on your trip. You did see a bear though? That’s pretty cool. And at a petrol station!

To know that I’m not alone, and to see that such an amazing person as yourself also struggles but pushes through your comfort zone is so admirable! Please don’t stop sharing about mental health, It really really helps some people! ❤❤

Bless you love - its really wild how physical the symptoms of anxiety/panic attacks can be - my manager once called an ambulance for me as it really felt like I was having a heart attack with the shooting pains down my arm and side along with my face losing feeling which then made me feel like it was a stroke uhhhhh it's so awful! Sending you love from the UK xx

Awww, girl, I'm so sorry! I have panic disorder as well and it seems to have gotten worse the older I've gotten, I'm 32. It really annoys me because it seems to happen to me on vacation as well. My body can't tell the difference of "scared excited" and "happy excited" so it will launch me into a panic attack 😞 It makes me feel guilty because I feel like such a downer on what is supposed to be a happy family vacation. I also get the nausea and tummy trouble with my anxiety. I'm guessing the hospital gave you either Valium (diazepam) or Ativan (lorazepam). They are amazing rescue drugs for panic attacks. It's a real shame they aren't meant to be used daily or long term because benzodiazepenes are the only medication the help my anxiety and don't give me horrible side effects. I've tried every anti depressant and mood stabilizers available. I can't deal with the side effects so I don't take anything anymore. I'm glad you ended up having some fun on your trip. That was too funny about your cat, something my cats would do lol (it's funny because he wasn't hurt). Merry Christmas! I'll be praying for you 🙏 ❤️

I used to have super bad anxiety /depression and struggled with adhd but I got prescribed Strattera a.k.a atomoxetine (not a stimulant) and its been so wonderful + made my anxiety disappear. My mom has also gotten on it as well and has said the same. If you're ever looking for other options in terms of meds I highly recommend it?? My only symptoms were getting dehydrated when I first started it but then I figured out how to properly hydrate myself and that issue went away after a month. Same for my mom.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I used to have debilitating anxiety too. It was awful! I'm sure the lack of sleep wasn't helping too! The only thing that really helped me was my relationship with Jesus. He brought me so much peace 😭. That and I had to eliminate things in my life that were not helping me. I also did find a therapist I liked. I also recommend finding a natural doctor that helps with anxiety. I wish I knew that natural docs help with mental health when I was struggling. I would have went to one! I overcame mine without meds too, so I get not wanting to take anything. There were times where I almost checked myself into a mental health facility because I didn't know if I could handle it. We all have to do what's best for ourselves! I wanted to get better on my own so I decided not to take any medication. Praying for you!!! You're not alone in this fight! There are some of us on the other side rooting for you! Jesus loves you friend!!! 😘💗

Oh girl, I was taken out of work in an ambulance once because I was having anxiety so bad, my chest was hurting and my arms went numb. They thought I was having a stroke. Therapy and anti anxiety/depression meds changed my life. I strongly encourage you to find a therapist and psychiatrist (you can make appointments online/ or phone so you don't have to go in). My quality of life has improved drastically. I'm 36 and I've dealt with this my whole life, but I wish I would have gotten help sooner. Love and peace your way ♥️

Anxiety sister lol… so I sound like an add but I’m serious this tea called anxiety free tea from cerebral teas helps so much especially when you come off medication…. Side note when you first wake up in the morning your liver dumps sugar and your cortisol is highest to give you enough energy to wake up and get up. Once I learned that I stopped having panic attacks yhe second I woke up. The tea stopped me from having middle of the night panic attacks and brain fog and decreased the amount of daily anxiety symptoms I had.

Lol at your cat haha why are always the black ones this crazy? Ours did these kind of jumps as well… wet your hands a tiny little bit to make your cat not static before petting them :) PS i feel like when you said „this was „just“ from anxiety“…. Why just? Anxiety has such a powerful impact to our bodies - i wanted to write this bc the way we talk to ourselves and others can alter the way we think/categorize about topics in specific ways… and its simply not „just“ - its an issue that affects us in both mental and somatic ways. I hope you feel better and that you can manage without the psychopharmacies

Wow I think it's so funny how in the US you think nothing about driving 6 hours to get someplace. I'm from Canada so of course it is that way too in Canada. But now I live in Europe and people here are like, drive for 6 hours?? You must be nuts I'd keel over from exhaustion. I'd never make it. So people here rarely ever drive anywhere far. They take the train or the airplane.

kayli out of curiosity do you have digestive issues? people with compromised guts usually have anxiety because their brain can’t generate serotonin correctly (95% comes from the gut). please please try a probiotic! there’s specific strains that target anxiety and stress (l rhamnosus is one). there’s clinical studies on this. sending love anyways ❤
