After starting physical therapy with almost a month of seeing the actual physical therapist(which is payed by insurance) I am shocked i ignored for over 2 years almost HALF my range of motion to my head and neck among a few other things

Yup exactly physical therapy can be incredible, but the problem is people don’t want to do physical therapy because it takes constant work and the exercises seem ineffective at first , they rather go to a chiropractor because they just have to sit there and they hear the fancy popping sound at the end even if it doesn’t actually help them.

There's a tiny bit of scientific evidence for chiropractic but other than that there's no independent evidence for the field and you won't find them in hospitals(at least in the UK)

never believed in chiropractors until i visited one. But they showed me something no other doctor had ever told me - my left leg is 18mm shorter than the right leg. My hip, spine, and all bones were compensating for that. I put a wedge in the heel of my left shoe, did adjustments for lil less than a year, no longer deal with alot of the pain i was experiencing

I've come to realize something. When you've been in pain, debilitated, sleep-deprived, etc. from your spine being misaligned, and you FINALLY make it to the chiropractor, when they get you realigned, the FIRST thing most of us do is bend at the waist, pull load from that position, stand on one leg, squat on that leg, swing lifted leg laterally ,rotate hips horizontally, duck head, suspend off-center mass from extended arm, all to JUST GET IN A CAR!!!!! (Not really a conspiracy, just an observation. )

Many countries actually do have strict requirements for chiropractors, and they operate just fine alongside proper medical care facilities. Even in the US, states differ on how they handle alternative medicines. Also, yeah chiropractors fuck up and get sued. It's a lot easier to sue a small business than the traditional health care sector. Much of it is government owned, so good luck with suing those guys. If you're using that metric, it's a biased metric. I could have probably sued the hospital that crippled my grandfather, but in Canada, that's a government funded hospital, and it wouldn't be worth the hassle. But you can bet that if the chiropractor my sister uses to treat her knee injuries were to make things worse, we'd be in court tomorrow.
