We definitely think so, for solo vlogging, but for interactions where the person you are showing is not next to you, the audio can be an issue. For us, the prime advantage of the DSLR is the ability to have a shotgun mic on top to help capture the conversations from a little bit of a distance. We made it work this time, but we had to be more thoughtful of the shot knowing that I could not just hit record and be fine. I had to be closer. It's just a change in mindset.

Food makes us happy and the food in London is something else. I can't complain about the weather as well. For a city that is notorious for having miserable weather, we have been very lucky to have great weather.

Looks like a great trip. Love that the kids took over the itinerary. Sounds like everyone enjoyed themselves. Nothing wrong with a 30 mins snooze. I do it every time we watch a movie. Pretty sure theatre seats would just make it even easier!

Ha! Jessica was so exhausted by the time of the second show. The Harry Potter and the Cursed Child story is told in two shows (part 1 and part 2) and they are back to back. She just gave up at the end of the second one, London is a busy place!

Hi. I'm so glad you loved the play! The problem with live theater and children is that the majority haven't had the experience of going with their parents. Children are so used to the digital world that they tend to not understand that talking, moving, etc distracts the actors and the audience. It's not the kids fault, they just haven't been exposed. Live theater is such an amazing experience my hope is that more parents take their children.

Hi Joan! Yes, the theater is such an experience for the kids. We tried to get in another show, but we could not get tickets to what we wanted. We were dying to see a Shakespeare play at the Globe. Next time.

Loving the little bug with the weather. Mind sharing where you got that? Loving the blog as always and missing our time in London. Impressed with the stabilization of the little camera. The sound is always a challenge. You can pick up cheap wide angle adapters for those cameras though. We really enjoyed the "free" (tip suggested) Sandeman's New Europe London tour. It only lasted a couple hours and the kids loved learning from someone other than us. Also, you guys are killing it on the vlog! Great work. -H

Welcome to the UK Things to see There the biggest shopping mall in Stratford, check out Covent gardens they have markets and entertainers I think at weekends, harry potter is in Watford but I think u have to book in advance. Check out London pass, u can buy for 1 day or more which let's u in different attractions :-)

We could not get in to the Harry Potter experience - sold out 😱. We are headed to Camden today. Can't wait. Then we head back to France in the morning. It has been a great trip.

Hi guys, London is an amazing city, so much to do and see, it sounds as if you really enjoyed the Harry Potter stage show! London is like any other world city, as long as you take the usual precautions you will be safe, have a great time and enjoy👍👍👍

London is a great town indeed. Our issue is looking for things that are less touristy, while still giving the kids the highlights of the city. It can be tough to manage. In London, we had to give in to more of the tourist items as the kids were really looking forward to this stop. Thanks for your support.

World Towning If you’re still in London and you want big open spaces, Hyde Park is great and St James Park is great for wildlife so close to Buckingham Palace. If you want quirky, Camden Town and Market is great...whatever you decide to do, enjoy😀👍

Hi from Canada 🇨🇦..sorry Will and Jessica - camera work looked perfectly acceptable to me. I am so impressed with how you manoeuvre all the transportation systems that would leave me reaching for prozac! Currently trying to organize trip to Hadaii gwaii - remote islands off the west coast of British Columbia and it has me paralyzed already and Im a world traveller! Jessica - I am a retired teacher in Canada - I am very disappointed in how absent parents are in teaching basic social skills to their children no matter what the nationality. I worked very hard as a single parent to in-still societal expectations in my two sons...it paid off in spades...but years later. London, not my cup of tea...let’s go back to Morocco!

Great book to read "pre Camino" I've heard people moan that there was incorrect info. I didn't find that. 3 mile an hour that was my walking speed. No blisters for 1st 19 days...

Thanks! For us, it's a bit tough to show experiences in a city as we a totally used to big cities and usually look for unique experiences. They exist, but they are more of a challenge to hunt down. Besides that, we are totally loving the food here!

Guys the crime in London at the minute is of the charts people stealing Phones and such from Motorbikes huge knife crime going on please please stay safe and vigilant do not go into areas without knowing this KEEP SAFE!!!!!

World Towning Those crime ridden areas are mostly around East and South London. If you stay within the central tourist areas then you'll be fine. You can easily recognise the bad parts as they are typically surrounded by a lot of Jamaican and Caribbean influence and culture. Not to be stereotypical however but just to know where it's based. Just abit of advice if u ever visit again.

We were there on the wedding day, but the ceremony was in Windsor Castle which is outside of London. We had no intention of participating in that mess, although it might have been great for the kids. Good Luck with London, it's a great town!

We did not think to get involved with the wedding, plus we also had tickets for the Harry Potter show that day. We booked them way too far in advance to know about the wedding. Next time Jessica does her hair (next week) we will show. Thanks.
