This is one of the best shows you have done Mike. Outstanding in so many way. Every fisherman who loves this sport needs to hear this show. Frank is dead on and he would be outstanding replacement for Zona. Thanks man.

BASS hiring Frank would be like CBS hiring Tony Romo, instant success

Great show! I am honestly blown away that more of the bets didn’t or haven’t embraced FFS in the way that Frank described. Nobody said that to use FFS you have to jump out deep but you could easily use it as a tool to make the patterns that you are fishing even more effective and efficient. Becoming even more precise and and dialed into your pattern at a completely different level

I've been kayak fishing heavily last 10 years, always had Hobie PA12's. I bought my first set of fishing electronics little over a year n half ago now. I went from never having or using fishing electronics to having a 10" Garmin Ultra 106sv, steady cast heading sensor & Lvs34 system. It's been an awesome setup! I use the LS for finding & fishing structure mostly. I keep it in perspective 80% of the time. I'm very confident with perspective mode. I basically only switch to forward when in deeper than 15'. It's a extremely powerful tool! It's absolutely helped me catch a lot of fish i wouldn't have without it but I see way way more fish that don't bite than I see that do! I don't fish tournaments I just love being on water & fishing. I think most guys that hate on FFS, are the ones with no experience with it & they think it easier to use use & you catch everything you see. Which couldn't be further from the truth. As for professional tournaments go, I think they all should allow FFS, but limit it to allowing it 1/3rd of time & 2/3rds of the tournaments it shouldn't be allowed. We wanna see who's best angler's are. Not the best at FFS only. If anyone can't cut it & compete without it, they should be dropped from the professional level!

I think the biggest issue in the whole FFS debate is the fact as the argument has become young vs. old. In my opinion it has nothing to do with age or even experience. I believe it’s purely a philosophical debate between being able to see in real time what up until the last few years we’ve only been able to speculate on. The debate is about preserving the “magic” of the game vs solely looking at the outcome of the game. Any age person can see one or both of those sides but for those that grew up on the “magic” of fishing it’s hard to let go of the beauty of that.

awesome watch. I believe the fishing industry moves on with the new comers from this generations peak of fishing (probably from the pandimic) and another generation will come again and will make another peak in the future. the ban of ffs should be a trial and nothing set in stone because things change so fast even though 3 to 5 years to us isn't a lot but in the overall it's fast and if this is banned somethign else may come into play and have to re evaluate the scene of everything not just fishing. good luck on the water fishing family

Ike just fish the npfl and prove the point how people who know more than ffs will do very very well

Pro bass tournaments are a gambling game like poker but not as popular as golf. Young guys will take sponsorship money to play and look/feel important. Older guys paved the path of looking “cool” but didn’t tell the young guys about their worth and value. Not pointing fingers but it’s never gonna change now unless there’s a new committee dedicated to really training the youth for free to right the course. Rather than complaining about those young guys beating their azz with technology
