this concert is at red rocks and it was scheduled some time after the death of the Duplantier brothers' mother. that's why there is so much emotion and I think that the image of the angel who ascends to heaven in the middle of the song refers to the mother. Gojira is a very eco-friendly band. That’s what a lot of their songs have to do with. Gojira is a play on Godzilla. They couldn’t use the name Godzilla, but there’s one of the movies where one Asian survivor pronounces Godzilla as Gojira. That’s how they got their name. Really really really good band with some kick butt music. Always fun reactions with you two. 👏👏👏👏🤙🤙🤙🤙
