To be completely honest, I feel this is Gojira's greatest song. A deep tribute to a mother. Artistic, musical and lyrical brilliance.

Maybe you dont know, but the majority of this video was filmed at Joe and Mario's home in France, where they grew up. Where they discovered metal and why they are so nature friendly.

The same place I grew up so I know every place in this video. I knew they wanted to do a big fire by their home when Joe and Mario's mother passed away. Such a strange feeling, so glad my mother is still alive though I'm 40+ Take care Kārlis \m/

What a beautiful, powerful song and video. They really are artists, not just technical masters at their craft. Ive been huge fan of Gojira since From Mars to Sirius, I listen to them almost daily, and while some people find their new album lacking in contrast to their previous work, I feel it reaches deeper into me like never before, making me feel emotions that I've never felt with Gojira.

As the story goes, this is a very personnal song and video. It was shot by their uncle, in their family house, directed by their sister, and the actress is their cousin. They made a big fire at the end, because their mother asked them to do so. To be honest, I amost cried the first time I saw this video and heard this song. Thank you Ruben for all these weeks of Gojira sunday. Peace. PS: fun fact, none of them are playing an actual instrument in the video, they are all "air playing".

Your reaction to this piece is what Gojira wanted to give to people, and I had the same reaction.. some people say Gojira are too math.. I think they are the most spiritual / soulful band out there! nice review 👍

Such a strange feeling to watch this video, cause I know every place it was filmed (the beaches, the lake, the forest etc...) since I was born. I'm so glad you was able to see them in July. BTW about 3 weeks away Mario said in a interview - In French sorry- that they plan on working on their next album by the end of the year with Joe in their N-Y studio. Then Christian and Jean-Michel - who still live in SW France- will join the party as I guess. Thank you so much Ruben, such a great year thanks to you and Gojira of course. Take care and keep up the great work!

Well, that was an epic ride :) I discovered Gojira last year, saw them live once also. It was fun to see your journey through Gojira's catalog :) Even if there's still a lot to discover.

Ruben. Thank you for all the Gojira memories. I subbed to you after watching a Gojira reaction video. Unfortunately, don't remember which one since it was just so long ago. However, I appreciate all the reaction videos you have made in general and not only Gojira. Also, it would be nice to hear more about you in a separate video sometime. Cheers. :)

Great last Gojira-Sunday songs! Felt like a sad farewell. Check out "Machine Head - Clenching The Fist Of Dissent"! There's no good live video, so you'll get the best first impression of the studio version.

I must say I'm not a huge Gojira fan 😳but these last two songs I really liked. I guess I appreciated the more varied range. He has a good singing voice, just don't get to hear it much. Regardless merci beaucoup for all the great Gojira vids Ruben! You have helped me to appreciate the band more! 🤘🏻🍻🖖🏼

HEY MAN! React to Heaven Shall Burn, and I am pretty sure you will LOVE them. Every song is beautiful, but try with the studio version of Combat - Endzeit - Forlon Skies - Bring The War Home - Counterweight. After these you will probably do a "Heaven Shall Burn's day" too :)
