I saw them last October touring for Magma. They are just as amazing live as they are in the studio. Magma is a really good album. I've seen a lot of people say they were disappointed in it, but I think that's the curse of high expectations. Their previous albums are that good. My favorite album of theirs is The Way of All Flesh because it has my two favorite Gojira songs on it, Vacuity and Toxic Garbage Island. Oroborus is an amazing song, too. From Mars to Sirius is a fantastic album as well. Flying Whales is such a powerful song, especially when you hear the album version with the instrumental opening with the whale songs.

Gojira are AMAZING live. One of the best live bands ive seen. Saw them in Oslo and in a small rockfestival in the west coast of norway. Only like 2000 people there. They blew up the village haha :D

Yes. They are even better live. They really interact with their fans especially in small venues. To me I prefer Gojira in the smaller venue as the sound and energy are off the charts. Wonderfully epic band.

The other bands that I've seen kill it live like Gojira is Ministry and Tool...But Gojira is quickly becoming my favorite, it's great that I have several albums from thier catalog that are new to me, and exciting to discover...I've not heard one bad song from these guys

+Brit Carter-Paul . yeah , went to see them on that tour in LEEDS England and the majority of the crowd was awestruck . I must say i was only there for GOJIRA as the rest of the bill was definitely not my cup of tea . but , trying to stay objective , they blew every body else off the friggin' stage .Light years ahead of Alter bollox , oops sorry Bridge , Volthingy and that stupid Glam rock didgeridoo outfit . I posted on another of your reactions, i presume you have listened to 'Stranded' By Gojira by now.. If I had seen this a few weeks ago, and now knowing you are in holland, they just played my home town which just happens to be manchester (england), its less than a hour from schiphol airport, this much i do know.lol I honestly would have picked you up myself and you could have come with me to the gig.. I have uploaded a video from Tuesday just gone, but the sound is screwed up (it crackles as machine head have blow my phone up). but you can see how good they are live and how atmospheric they are, and really had a brilliant light rig.. i like your videos my friend , you have another sub..

I have seen them live a few times now and they are one of the few bands that actually surpass and transcend the studio production and arrangments live which is a rare thing these days . i keep repeating myself i guess , but they are fucking awesome live .you have to go Ruben !! trust me.
