This is not either of the traditonal Goju-Ryu Sanchin kata I have been doing for 30 years. (Sensai Morio Higaonna Lineage).

Yes. And there is no deep kime, no Goju breathing co-ordination. This is the Shito-Ryu variety.

@@churchofgod4016 Thats what i noticed, in the yuishinkan kata (kisaki lineage) we place great importance on the breathing and i missed that totally in his demonstration. So breathing overall is not that much of a deal in shito ryu ?

This is totally NO Sanchin Kata! With appreciation of Sensei position, but that is something very awful, because if you know the logic basics of this kata, you will know how should be the movements !

That's not the original way of doing it and there's many versions of each kata also. This video is correct.

I don't know from which style you are from.....not Goju ryu BTW. B'cuz these guyz are doing something else and whole world is doing something else. I learnt a kata from them I later I came to know that it was wrong. I don't trust you. I don't know from where are you learning these katas.

The sanchin is a bit different ! From the patch it appears they are which Go Ju Kai, whose founder was Gogen Yamaguchi .

@@curttempleton591 yamaguchi learned under chojun miyagi. This guys version is weird however as even I practice goju. We are also part of the JKF Gojukai Seiwakai but ours is normal like the other sanchin variants. I’m not sure about the origins of this particular version
