Goku is not what you imagined. Goku spare vegeta life not for redeeming chance but to have a rematch with him. Goku let vegeta go knowing well there will be casualities along this decision. He also wanted to spare the gynuo force of frieza. Also give frieza a small energy to survive. Goku when he was a kid has actually killed but I dont think thats wrong so let me give another point. Oh yeah goku is the type of person who would put the whole earth fate at stake just to have a fight that gonna get him thrilled. Goku has no empathy i guess. May be sympathy and compassion. But no empathy Empathy: ability to feel what others feel and typcally it is the negative emotions. Sympathy: ability to feel sympathetic pity and know someone is distressed. Compassion: desire to allivate distress. I think he has it since he wouldnt stand seeing other in front of him get killed. If you only watched the dub and believe it that a huge mistake. They pulled a lot of things out of their asses

​no what its the opposite goku unironically believes that people could atone, thus is the reason he spared frieza's force he has like a realization or development overtime of his "morality" and "killing" boundaries in the manga when goku kills frieza his hand that threw the blast with was trembling and on the next panel he was sad since he realized not everyone could change and couldnt save him after that, he started thinking about his judgement of villains as a dude whos like wayyy too soft (and if you misunderstood the cell and android saga, he actually thought he geniuenly killed frieza, and realized he didnt die later) after the cell arc, goku realized that the villains were all the result of him, so he stays to stay dead, and then a 7 year timeskip thing went by and then the buu arc

For all those wondering, this is from the OVA titled "Dragon Ball Z: Atsumare! Goku Warudo" or "Dragon Ball Z: Gather Together! Goku's World" which came in a VHS tape packaged with a video game with the same title released only in Japan in the early 90's...kinda like that DBZ OVA that came with the video game for the Playdia.

Just download it with any program you use to download films, you can also download an Emulator to play it on PC, since it's not a film really. It's on YT as well, but also a Zip file for Emulator use. Note. This never happend and it's way below GT based on Non-Canon, waaayyy down. 😅 It's not even a movie, it's too short for that, it's just part of "something" forgotten. A quiz based on things you already know, it's more of a flash game typ of video game where you need to play a quiz. This has nothing to do with "film". Even other games had their "so called" movies like DBZ Raging Blast Two.

There's actually an underlying _sadness_ to this scene. You see, I rewatched all of Dragon Ball a few years ago; and I realized that even though Goku surrounds himself with friends who love and stand by him...No one actually gave him what is on display here. No one gave him approval or validation, a reassuring pat on the head to indicate that he was a good boy and doing the right thing. Most everyone Goku knew was _terrified of him_ and treated him like some kind of time-bomb. Goku doing what he did here...is probably the only bit of validation that he ever got in his childhood, and shown a moment of unconditional love after Gohan died. And the saddest thing is, he had to do it for himself...because he's the only one who understood that he _needed it._ Most people say Goku is a lousy friend because he enjoys going off and spending time alone. Why wouldn't he when all of his friends freaked out whenever he showed how strong he was? Or when they tip-toed around the fact that they believed he was a _monster_ deep down? No one ever gave Goku a reassuring pat on the back and said, "You're a Good Kid, Goku." Goku goes off on his own because it's alone that he knows he isn't being judged or condescended to. And people think it's somehow his responsibility to accommodate the others who secretly viewed him as a freak or a tool to facilitate their dragon ball collecting?

no it's another timeline.. or rather a parallel world that has the same past until that point in time. afterwards trunks isn't time travelling he is travelling between parallel worlds. If he stays 3 years in the main timeline 3 years will have passed when he returns back home. If he would timetravel to his time to go "back" he wouldn't get back, cause time has changed. Even if no butterfly was stepped on there would be another him there, cause it's not his world. if he would travel forward in time no parallel world would be created, but if he then wants to go "back" in time a parallel world is created.

He bestowed crucial aspects to Goku’s personality, teaching him the difference between what was right and wrong. Master Roshi was Gohan’s teacher so he knew how to amplify Goku’s best skills as well, they both aided in his success, but it was Gohan who made him vigilant of his actions and words. (Longer paragraph alert) Also, he’s a Saiyan. He does not need to be dependent on anyone, he showed his independence very well in the first episode of Dragon Ball right before he met Bulma. Yeah he missed his grandpa, but he wasn’t pouting about not receiving what we humans consider as important. All he wanted to do was eat, train and live the best he could, his pure saiyan blood allowed him to evolve into a survivalist. Even as he received love from ChiChi and Gohan in the future, he cares and accepted it, but he can’t wrap his head around the concept. All he knows is he wants to protect what he has and that is what makes him strong.
