I’ve rewatched dragonball and dbz, about three different dubs of it, growing up. 7, then 11, then 20. Then when Super came out I was back at watching, but stopped when super stopped. Inheritance to the future definitely sounds like multiple meanings 1) Toyotaro inhereting the DB story 2) Gohan or others(uub, pan, etc) being Universe 7 new hero 2b) Preparation for Nozawa and other actors retirements/passing away; therefore connection with number 2. Well there's definitely a deep good reason why Gohan and Co are even on Beerus's planet. So the narrative of the entire story is going on a completely new direction. It's still a huge possibility Gohan will play a pivotal role, otherwise his movie wouldn't have happened, no Beast Gohan. What if Gohan turns into a very powerful villain? Finally, Gohan got what he deserved. I'm so happy to see him getting a new transformation which I really love it. Gohan could potentially be the best villain ever. A tragic supervillain to be exact. Like another version of Lord Drakkon. Jealousy of his father, being looked down by many that makes him drastically changed to a cold and heartless person. Gonna be like Batman VS Arkham Knight kinda thing. A new idea just came across to my mind. If they bringing Turles to the DBS/canon universe in the future, he could be use as a major supporting antagonist. As you can see, in Turles movie, he sparked an interest in having Gohan to join him as he recognizes the boy's potential. By using that point of story, he could brainwashed Gohan's mind and turning him into a tragic supervillain. Making Gohan as the new emperor of Saiyan race, thus calling him Lord Gohan and creating his new Saiyan army.

Hey Geekdom101 I have been watching your Dragonball videos for years and you are by far the most knowledgeable source of Dragonball information online! As a fellow Dragonball fan from back in the Toonami days, I send you my condolences regarding the passing of the Great Sensei Toriyama. It was a shocking and difficult loss for the world although, I have a sense of peace knowing Toriyama's impact will continue on for many many generations to come. That being said, I was curious about the writing process for Dragonball; the anime and the manga. Do you know if Toriyama planned a general overview of sagas (e.g., Frieza, Cell, etc), or did he prefer to start with an initial concept and allow it to organically evolve? I think of Kevin Feige and the Marvel Universe and how he had a general concept of End Game ever since the first modern-era Marvel movies slowly introduced Thanos. Since the passing of Toriyama, I've become more and more interested to learn about him as a person and how he uniquely crafted his many creations. I also wonder if Toyotaro and possibly others have a general idea of where the manga and anime (Daima) are headed for years to come. 🤔 Thanks again for your devotion to consistently provide credible in-depth Dragonball content! - Bob

End of Z incoming!!! I think the title of course has a few meanings, based on Toriyamas passing, but it most likely refers to the next generation, starring Uub, which has slowly been built up. We know EoZ Gohan ends up writing a book on ki, but seems to be more like his GT counterpart if anything. We will now transition to the 28th tournament and see what changes they will make imo

I think they should do a massive 24+ chapter "Black Frieza" arc and have it conclude "Dragon Ball Super" and begin a *new* "GT-inspired" series from Toyotaro that takes places after Super/Z. Show us Goku training Uub in the room of spirit of time for a new threat before he has to go babysit Zeno (for years) to give his personal guards a rest. Vegeta as the new God of Destruction. Gohan training Trunks & Goten to join the Galactic Patrol force. Piccolo trains Pan like he did Gohan. New foes and call backs to Dragon Ball Super like what the U6 & U11 characters are like now with the jump forward in time. Have "Future" Trunks come back for a 3rd time with a new threat while young Trunks/Goten are off-world and he and Gohan can team up as adults. Tournament Of Power 2.0.

Also show us Broly & Chile's son and how much potential he has. Between their Son, Uub & Gohan, plus Trunks & Goten we will have plenty of "main characters" to root for and develop while Goku/Vegeta essentially take a back seat and rest off-world.

Theres no way "An inheritance to the future" is not a coincidence, Toyotaro is probably going to inherant the series, but it could also mean something about Gohan taking the spotlight in the next arc, possibly Black Frieza?

Gohan barely has any connection to Frieza. Frieza is Goku and Vegeta's archenemy. I don't think Gohan will even fight Frieza.

@@mauricereticau6292 Gohan had plenty of reason to fight Frieza on Namek, and did so, and did so in Resurrection F too, since it officially became his problem just like anyone else's (even if he did bizarrely fail to stand up to him in any meaningful sense). Frieza tormenting his planet and his saiyan family and even Piccolo's Namekian family is reason enough, on top of Gohan standing for justice in opposition to injustice being the only reason he needs

Toriyama left notes for the next couple of chapters. BTW, Toyotaro has been the one doing absolutely everything. He just runs a few things by Toriyama but I believe that Toyotaro was picked to he the successor. Hopefully DB doesn't stop going.

They better show Goku winning their little sparring match don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the SS2 add Beast Gohan characters, they are badass No Doubt, but I have a bias for Goku for the fact that we got to see him work hard for his strength, and it just doesn't feel right if they allow Gohan to jump from his former power level to such a ridiculously much higher level and be equal to or farther along than Goku. I just can't accept that. I would like to at least see it be sort of a close match but Goku wins, and they depict Goku as having held back.
