I much preferred in the anime when Goku had to go on that dangerous adventure to find the drink and be tested before drinking it. It just felt a lot more earned than Korin jusy giving it to him. And yeah, I know Goku could've died, but I don't think that was enough. The anime did it better.

When goku first became a super San and he said I lied to good nightmare to you. The dub made it seem like Goku did not realize he was a super saiyan. Another thing fijito never used the words Big Bang attack in the funimation dub He said here it comes a little going away Present for you. At the time I did not know the move was called big bank attack. That's how much they insulted on intelligence. And also vegeta did not mention self-loathing.

Most of us that watch dragon ball started from Z The dub that I remember first was the ocean dub. I used to call it the old Dragon Ball Z. I used to think the fundamental dog was the real version until I started getting the DVD's and Start it to read the subtitles and I realized that the subtitles in the conversations they were having in the english dub did not match at all. It was not very accurate to the original story.

I'll never understand why Z was dubbed before the original series. It's their fault really that most fans only know of Z.
