Well done, Robert. Gold is not an expensive asset right now, not at all. My estimate for an actual fair value would be at around 4 k. Looks like a decent deal, BUT, bring that chopped gram of Gold to your LCS and you’d probably get about $55 to $60 if you were lucky. The only way to buy Gold at these elevated prices is to offset the premiums (and high spot price) with cash back dollars on your credit card. I usually wait until I have about (at least) $300+. Keeps your average cost much more reasonable.

I bought 1/10 ounce American eagles when they sold at 75, 90 and 120. The story then was the same story we all hear today,… “But you are paying premium for fractionals that’s a bad decision”. Me - how many people would like to go back and buy 1/10 ounce each month for 4 years paying between 75-150? I am sure most people would raise their hands. Buy what your budget can stand. You are not buying for tomorrow, you should be looking several decades down the road. Believe me,…the decades will come at you fast. Good luck to all. Keep saving and stacking what you can.

That’s the funny part……The Valcambi combi bars in any denomination carry a premium in both gold and silver so maybe they are breaking up the bars they were using to sell one gram bars to customers that only ordered a few grams at a time
