Went detecting in Vic. Found the bush I was in full of bullets. The thing I found I was putting in my top pocket. Big mistake. Every time bending and digging set detector off. I found soda stream out in the bush. A good burp helps. Going out to rushworth tommorw. Russell

When you go looking for a new spot, do you scout pending tenements or look for crown land? I spent all last winter scouting Pending tenements and came up empty handed. Not sure I want to waist my time doing the same thing this winter. What am I doing wrong?

Great question mate. there are many hard things todo with prospecting. The hardest would be where to start. as you can see in this video it was a new area & didn't do very well at all. we only found 1 piece. your doing all the right things. Just keep trying mate it will click eventually. i am just lucky enough that if my research fails that dad knows spots that he has cleaned out 20 years ago. but still some gold there for the 7000. that way we all ways find something and can tick of areas that are goldless. allways looking!!!

@@GAMEofCONEZGOLD I've been eyeing off a spot in the Pilbara all day. It's a live exploration lease but I may be able to get a permit for a few months this winter and see what I can find...There is a lot of recent activity going on there from what I can see on Google maps. I know the area also...

Your right but there more. White miners normally made a square hole with a wind winch. Bucket and winder. Chinese made round hole with a groove with a shadoof. So have a quick look at heritagerat on KZbin. Give me a couple of weeks and keep a eye on the post.
