For a hobby, this is an incredible result. It’s not about making money as the UK is not rich in its gold deposits but damn. It’s a great way to get out the house, explore and see what you can find under your feet which many don’t realise is there anyway. Plus a little vial of gold flakes to keep is a great way to see the results of your labour, even if it is just a hobby!

Fantastic result, nature's dry blower in action at 45 seconds with that wind! Impressed with the clean up sluice, certainly caught the fine stuff. Well worth the trip out and what a way to end the year.

Yeah, have a good christmas. I've just spent the last hour panning a tiny amount of concentrates with a falcon finishing pan and I've still loads to go through. Really need a blue bowl of clean up sluice

My mate has a vacuum truck in Bendigo Australia Old gold town still working today anyway back to the mate to give you an idea how much gold is in the street he washes his filters and recovers a lot of gold I was blow away he's the guy that unblocks stormwater drainage and sucks up leaves

I've thought about doing that also but I'm nowhere near the coast. I do usually find shiny in every pan but not that much because I can't do very much. I've still got 2 buckets to do from the last time I was out and there's definitely gold in them. The crazy thing is I have a highbanker but never use it. It would be great at that place. 👍❤️💛💚

Unfortunately, no mechanical equipment can be used in the uk. It would be classed as mining ,however, you can use a sluice 👍

No, not all beaches will have blacksands containing gold in it. The only one way to find out is to get down there and test Pan to find out 👍

Magnets work well with chuncky gold . I think I watched the flour gold wizard try and use one with flour gold, and the gold got stuck in between black sand when it was attaching to the magnet

I was actually tipped off by an old boy on how to best prospect the beach, and he told me he once found 2 grams from a few buckets, and I think the storm helped, too . Thanks for all the support and comments this year
