Hey thanks for the comments and feedback Tony, it all started a few years ago pretty much out of the blue after I had a bad fall on my mountain bike. During my recovery time I watched many episodes of Tod Hoffman and his crew on the hit TV show Gold Rush. I said to my dad "I'm going to give this a go" and here we are in 2020 still doing it! It's a great hobby and it certainly draws you in once you see some shiny gold in the pan.

Hey Steve, give it a go by all means, you might find a few decent specs. The drone shots always give places away if you do your research. As for the outtakes , half the time I can't get my words out lol , and there is never a script so to speak. I've a quite a few videos to edit at the moment, too many in fact, but stay tuned for more pal. Let us know how you get on pal.

Great video, always truthful and always something new. Not much to find here in East Anglia that isn't possibly at the bottom of a gravel quarry from the ice age. But like you say it's the fun of the chase.... you never know if you'll find some of the "good stuff". I can't wait to see where you go next.
@MrDazP1adv3ntures4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Simon. It can be hard to compete on this platform against all the other KZbin channels out there who have some fantastic gold rivers on their doorstep etc but I enjoy the editing and flying the drone just as much as mooching on the river banks so it's all about being creative and telling the best story you can. Hopefully I'll get out soon and find some more of the good stuff that you can actually see with your own eyes. All the best pal.

@MrDazP1adv3ntures4 жыл бұрын
Cheers Matt, only a few specs in total on this river but from other rivers there's a wee bit more. It's not like the reality TV show Gold Rush where they fill a jam jar with the stuff. It's more like a thimble of the stuff. Surprisingly not a lot for all the effort. So a few grams is not too shabby for a lot of back breaking work.
