What I love about these bloopers is Legend Betty. She's totally in character and when she realizes she or someone else made a mistake, her facial expression changes totally. When I watch bloopers from other sitcoms, I don't usually see this type of professionalism. She's amazing.

Bea’s son said it was about their acting styles. Betty likes to play to an audience and break the fourth wall. Bea didn’t. She wanted to remain professional at all times. They could have met each other half way, but Betty is a force to be reckoned with. Even the clips show Bea bending not Betty. Extroverts often don’t realize what they put introverts through. Betty also sometimes reminds me of my grandmother who was very image focused, and I wonder who she really is outside of the persona. She basically raised Alan Ludden’s three children whose mother died when they were youngish (like 12 and under) and yet says she has no children, and she doesn’t speak to one of them. I adore her, but I can see how they could have problems.

I love these girls so much. We have the boxed set and I have watched each episode at least a hundred times with my mom over the past few years. We just have it running in the background too lots of times it's just soothing to have a bit of the past delivered in such comic quality. Wonderful actors. We love this show. It will never be matched again and I'm so sad Betty is the only one left. Truly an era to be cherished
