Thank you for this great information. I'm in Florida too and I've never seen it here. Are there seeds available?

Thanks for the info. I've never seen it growing in my neck of the woods so I'm wondering if I'd have any luck getting it to grow here🤔

Try it! I have it all over because I encourage it. It will need moist soil! You will love it! I feel guilty harvesting it because the bees have a feast with them during fall when I see few flowers!!! But, one thing I can tell you, the jam with Goldenrod is beautiful!!!! And you can make it very medicinal for those cold winters!

@@ymrelang thanks for the info on needing most soil. That's probably why I've never seen it around me. I'm in the mountains so soil isn't moist on its own.

@@oldschool8292 , here in Germany Golden Rod is a neophyte. It is said to come from America. I got it in my court where it settled down god knows from where. It is the court where it grows between the stones and near the walls. It is not moist there at all. That's why I think that you cn grow it anywhere. It shallnot be extremely dry but it needn't to be especially moist. It is really worth having. I serve the tea from the flowers each weekend to my family. They enjoy it. Without vaxxination we've all survived Covid as we survived the flue. Whether this is the fault of Golden Rod I don't know but probably it is one factor that supports our health. By the way, Golden Rod is said to support Prostata and prevents it from swelling on aging men.

I had golden rod in my yard, and for some reason it all died. I just finished the last of my tincture. My question is, can I buy dried Goldenrod or even buy seeds to start it again? I live in Kentucky we’re golden rod is the state flower. It is illegal to wild forge it anywhere but on your own property.
