1968 Ryan Sod Cutter first start in 25 years!

On this episode I try to get a 1968 sod cutter running to work on my house. its been sitting for 25 years will it run or will it be a complete bust. Big thanks to grandpa for the awesome machine and teaching me all I know!

Sounds identical to a DR Field and brush mower I have.. that Briggs and Stratton lives on.. I use it every year, but a few years back it went through a flood, so we cleaned the carb.. redid the pull cord rewind.. gave er new fuel n oil popped off first pull.. can't kill em.. I like how you put it, they like to live and live and live to tell the tale. Great video! 👍 keep em coming!

I just love those flat head Briggs engines. They just want to live for Ever and they are way more reliable than a OHV Briggs. I have been working on flat head Briggs engines since last year and they have been nothing but easy work
