I literally spent all my available spare time from age 14 to about 25 doing exactly this type of mechanics with my Grandpa. He was a master mechanic just like yours. I was like his little apprentice and I am so grateful for everthing he taught me and all the great memories I now have. Life took over after 25 and I spent less time with him, but we still spent time together on a regular basis. I would tell him about the stuff I was doing on more modern equipment and realized that I was teaching him! He passed away in 2016 when I was 34, but today I feel so happy that I spent so much time with him. I don't need to tell you to enjoy your moments with your Grandpa, because I can see you are already doing it. It's the best investment of time you will have ever made. Great vid man!

the second I saw the word "Doddle bug" I dropped what I was doing to watch the video....45 years ago my first maintenance job was at a metal refinery and they had about ten of those things and everybody there called them "huff" doodle bugs but regardless my job was to do the preventive maintenance, do tune ups and repairs on them and also fix the tires. 15 years later when I left they were still using six of them. I haven't seen one since this one in the video, it sure brings back a lot of memories..
