Seriously, that is a cool idea for a curing oven. I may have to steal that idea from you.

When I first saw the engine enamel, I thought another clown will just spray the enamel and then spray a clear coat. You did not only follow the directions, but also made your own oven! I did the baking inside a regular box instead of something fancy like yours, but I kept the fire extinguisher somewhere handy lol

This is how I was brought up in NZ. Being so far away from most other countries, other than Australia. If could couldn't afford to buy it, then you made it.. this often meant that you improvised to a degree of absolute brilliance, lol. Oh, and probably poisoned yourself in the process , but hey you only live once !

Hi gold guy. From the UK. I break the bead on tyres by laying the wheel flat and putting a garden space on the edge between the tyre and rim , then jump on it. Works great. Just work your way round. Great chanel

Confession.. I remember saying not to chop up a classic. ONLY I think I'm going to chop my 1985 K100rs BMW into a scrambler. I want a scrambler soooo bad! So, any cafe projects you attempt on classics , let's go. Lol, I need schooling from someone like you.

Harbor freight has a decent cheap powder coating gun which you can use then be like me and use a cheap toaster over for small items and an outdoor grill for bigger items

Oh yeah, thou shall not place car, motorcycle, and gun parts into the oven inside the house. That should be the 11th commandment lol...

If a tire is super hard I prefer to use a sawzall (reciprocating saw for non Americans) with a coarse blade to cut the carcass, then use a metal cutting blade to go through the bead. Bend a big fender washer into a right angle and use it under the bead so you don't saw into the rim. It is about 1/4 the work and no risk of bending the rim. I use VHT brake caliper paint, as I find it to be a bit tougher. I have no idea what the difference is, but I like the semi-gloss black of the caliper paint the best. It also needs to be cured. BBQ works for smaller parts.

Hey, can't wait to see what's next! Thanks for the videos. Why not moving on to powdercoating? It's not that hard to do and except the powder gun, I'm pretty sure the powder is less expensive than can paint. And you already have the oven ^^ :)

Two comments: first, please look up good painting technique, you might be surprised at the improvement in overall quality (ask me how I know), and second.....you need a new wife, those wheels fit so perfectly there's no way I would've taken them back out 😂

Good job. But remember that heat rises for the heat source should have been near the bottom with a small vent hole near the top for the air you are pumping in to escape. not saying you did it wrong but I would have done it the other way. Like I said great job.

You're losing money! Restore to factory. Sells for twice the price of some kid building a "cafe racer" in his basement. Check around, original is where it's at. Money wise

@@mechatomato3988 Yes butt, I saw one in the bank parking lot recently. A 50 year old bike looking like new. It immediately gathered a crowd, with people yelling obscene figures to the owner , in the tens of thousands. Yeah, he had a few bucks in it, but nothing like the offers. And he just smiled and said " it's not for sale"

@@mechatomato3988 All those cb/4 bikes will be going for 100k before you know it. Let me give you an example. A1963 VW bus sold for 100k at Barrett Jackson last year. I watch bike prices everyday, those cb/4 have tripped in price in the past 3 years. Maybe not in butt hole Penn.
