@@markthompson7961 Don't get me wrong, I don't hate my neighbors. If he was on fire I would hose him off. I find his antics amusing, riding his dirt bike along the tree line to TRY to scare the horses. he finally figured out that if they 'can't' see him its way scarier. so now he hides in the bushes and bangs on trash cans around 5:30 ish am. 'I've taken to recording him now.' This all started because my dog shit on his lawn & pulled the foam out of his wife's riding helmet, I picked up the shit and offered to pay for the helmet. this happened 5 years ago when my dog was a puppy and it only happened once. They have money & live in a log home out in the country, drives a huge truck, with not a scratch on it and he's only about 5' 7" lol he's the safety manager at work with a safety vest and hard had that never gets dirty / hair gelled up all perfect heading to work in his shinny truck. Goose morning calistechnics. The hop-and-flap. The rampant quackery never ceases to amuse me. And the pollen puff sequence was very relaxing. Keeping the ticks doesn't hurt, since you can pass them over for a lab test if you start showing symptoms. At that point, though, I guess it's more an act of vengeance combined with community service rather than actual relief.

We’re allergic to mammal meat but can eat poultry and fish. You’re probably a little too far North for this tick species, but I know there’s a big cluster of cases in Long Island. Lots of alpha gal Facebook groups with high subscribership. Be careful with those deer ticks.

I was looking for chicken vids and found you guys. I get all your references. You even knew The Young Ones were! I am blown away that you were listening you the same Listening to the same little house audio book I am. I’ve yet to hear Monty Python or Mystery Science Theater jokes, but I know it’s coming. I knew you would like punk just from looking at you. What useless perceptive powers aye? Did you like Baskets? I bet you did. My cousin owns an organic apple orchard, Sweet Seasons Farm in St. Johnsbury. Certainly, We would be great friends. 😀

Morgan your minions are very noisy. Oh I love watching the ducks waddle. Bakers love the eggs of ducks for baking. I live in Connecticut and of course we are very south of y’all, but I was born in Georgia. 🇺🇸

Have you watched Kyle the Rooster? He's got geese, ducks, chickens, turkeys and guinea fowl. They create their own soap opera every day. Check it out! I own 2 acres that I just let go to seed. The deer, bunnies, gophers, birds, turkeys, bears, snakes, cats, etc. love it. It's like a Disney movie back there.

LOL... "band" is really stretching the definition. Industrial metal? Grunge? Not good acoustics in there, so it's kinda hard to tell.

I like Grass mower with an engine.Any engine. I remember using the Scythe when I was~16 There was a LOT to do and: It was so exhausting. After that I never wanted a garden and planned for the future to cement a large area and paint it green. But as you grow older........ I wish I had a quarter of your space

New to your channel, just catching up. I saw earlier videos and said man thats a lot of water... and now i am enjoying the idea of moving to tn, where ill be the "farmer" on side of mtn, so no cattle, maybe goats. But now im nervous that my luck will be allergic to duck eggs. But very much a duck pond and place to call home with good internet... so thanks for this. I only question the smell... i hate chicken houses, pig houses, and elephants.

I set up a perimeter fence off my 12 joule Gallagher, fencer. I ran my hot wire off that. I never had any luck with solar.

any way to used your excess land and get a hay company in to cut and bale and sell it on - just a thought of another way to use the land that is not currently utilized

I actually want to avoid haying because it is simply stripping fertility from the land by cutting the hay and taking it offsite. In the past, I've had friends come and rotationally graze sheep and cattle. I might do that again. I prefer that because it means adding additional fertility to the land.

@@GoldShawFarm I understand that part after they sheep and cows finish each stripped area do you mow to spread the poo in so doing into more of the soil by spreading it with a mower? I am from a farming family in NZ and this is now done to get better soil and grass - we then rest the paddock until it gets what we call teenage grass again - the grass with this highest brix (best sugar content from the grass)

Great video! Went to the website to check out the price of hatching eggs, but says "coming soon"? This was the first I heard you mention this. So will the infrequent newsletter tell me when the pricing is up? lol. Also glad to see you are working on your "tubby keister" now you can wear the "I work out" shirt! Thanks to all the folks who said Guineas eat ticks, going to get a couple to attack the swarm here in Michigan.

I don't know anything about duck farming. But I'm sure that ducks are water birds. Shouldn't ducks have a water to be in at least some of the time?

you need a small trailer to pull an IBC tote with water, instead of buckets. For insect repellent, I use UltraShield Green horse spray. Uses essential oils, no chemicals.

For testing an electric fence, grab a stalk of green grass and touch the fence with it - you'll definitely still feel it, but it won't be nearly as annoying as touching directly. Oh, and *never* pee on it, you'll regret it for days, as will your wife ;)

Get a few more buckets and you can put poultry cup waterers in them. Keep the ducks from swimming in their bowl.

You can't be a part time duck farmer. You have to look after them everyday. Just like your dog. You have to feed him everyday. You can't go on a long vacation or you have to hire someone to look after your farm until you're back.
I'm glad we have coyotes on the farm
