Adam: I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the incredible impact you've had on my golf game. Your expertise, guidance, and positive attitude have truly made a difference in my approach to the sport, and I couldn't be more grateful. Your instructional videos have been incredibly informative and easy to follow, and I've already seen a noticeable improvement in my swing and overall performance on the course. But beyond the technical aspects of the game, your emphasis on the mental and emotional aspects of golf has been particularly inspiring. It's abundantly apparent that you love teaching. I've spent untold hours combing you tube for instructional golf videos but yours are clearly well above everything else I've seen to date. Your passion for the sport and dedication to helping others improve is truly admirable, and I feel fortunate to have stumbled upon your channel. Thank you for all that you do, and keep up the fantastic work!

It's easier to enjoy the process when you know you are on the right path and have a clear map of what you are trying to achieve in the golf swing. You have given me that Adam. I can't thank you enough for these videos they have had a huge impact on my game already and I've only been watching them for a few weeks.

I had a tendency to sway, this tip of pushing the hip to the left, stops the sway and helps me turn, also pushing down to set the club on the backswing helps me stay on plane - great instruction thank you, and it works.

Man, your content is excellent! I have been looking for a new coach since my coach pass away. It’s been tough. I was told to strengthen my grip which was awkward and caused me to have a bent arm and the top because the face was so shut and then a cupped wrist because I could feel a shut face. I’ve been going back to basics from a normal I kept some of the basics you teach are identical. Of the different things I’ve seen you teach, it has simplified the swing. Less is more. I bought Luke Kwon’s online program and found it helpful and I have been driving the ball better but since going back to a neutral grip I’m hitting fairways more consistently without stress of where the ball might go.

Very impressed with the lessons being a new subscriber. My question is do you stand farther away with long irons and fairway woods?? Any assistance will be gratefully appreciated....thank you
@PorzakGolf2 жыл бұрын
Yes every time the club gets longer you will stand slightly further away from the golf ball you’ll get a slightly wider stance and the ball will be a little bit more forward
@jerrybrouwer24942 жыл бұрын
Once the grip and the hip are in place, do you just turn the body back and through, or do you swing the arms and hands to match the hip and body turn in order to make the hit through the ball. I have seen your hammer drill where the nail is at hip height and the butt of the grip is the hammer. I love your lessons and your approach to the swing. Thank you. Jerry. Toronto Ontario.
@PorzakGolf2 жыл бұрын
The nail is it hand height and once the hip and the grip are ready the hip turns but the grip really needs to feel like it fires a lot faster into that nail!

I’m so confused…I see so many great players that do move their hips slightly back in the backswing and then recenter as they get to the top, yet you teach to not “sway”. Is this more of a stack & tilt thing? I really want to get better, but there’s just some much conflicting info out there these days. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks
@cduncan2424 Жыл бұрын
So is grip and hip the same with each and every club in bag especially driver and wedges. And is it the same concept of squaring the club with grip and use the body to turn?
@jackbythesea56112 жыл бұрын
Great job with another young golfer with a 70 year old learning your teaching too! My only suggestion would be to “mic” the student.
@thomasfraser90722 жыл бұрын
Here you have a great student with a great natural swing of his own and you changed his grip? Why? As he should he keeps his upper trail arm aligned perfectly with his trail shoulder so he can use his trail arms to swing under his trail shoulder. And he has a natural quarterback throwing of his club head down to the ground as it contacts his ball perfectly. He also did a natural 1/2 step pivoting of his body to the completion of his classic finish. All beautifully executed. Now you want him to turn the club head around his body more using your restricted grip? Again Why? Cheers
@canefan172 жыл бұрын
This might seem like a silly question, but to get the club face open slightly at address… are you taking your LH grip with it open and then setting the club down behind the ball, or are you setting the club down first with it open and then taking LH grip?
@PorzakGolf2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Canefan17, we only want the club face square at address. We prefer to take our grip first with our LH on the side of our body and then address the ball. Let me know if that clears it up for you. - Gabe

Can the wrong size grips cause you to grip the club incorrectly? I have a hard time covering the grip with my left hand (left hand golfer). Standard grips seem too thin though. I currently have mid size grips.

You know it's funny I've always had a strong grip not overly strong but strong It might miss is left but what's funny about it is I try and just neutralize my grip not to where it's weak just neutral and it's just amazing how weak the grip feels but I will keep doing it to make it feel correct

@PorzakGolf2 жыл бұрын
Not ideal, your hands are the first connection to the club, it's best to both have them on all the way in the proper position.
