Bon, même si cette vidéo à un plus d'un an, c'est une très belle vidéo. ;) Merci de l'avoir filmée, cela gardera une trace sur Internet (comme pour le reportage). Cela me rend triste de voir ces appareils disparaître. Celle-ci, puis prochainement Isenau et Männlichen. Remplacées par des appareils sans intérêts au niveau de la mécanique. :(

In den ersten 25 Jahren (4-MGFP aus dem Jahre 1954) wurden fast 4 Mio. Passagiere zum Spielboden Saas-Fee hinauf- und anschliessend auf die Längfluh weiterbefördert. Aber die Attraktivität der Bahn hatte auch zunehmend länger werdende Wartezeiten zur Folge. Mit dem Projekt des Neubaus der Bahn wollte man diesen Zustand ändern. An Weihnachten 1976 war die erste Etappe (Saas-Fee - Spielboden) fertiggestellt. Die neue Bahn erhöhte die Transportleistung von 230 auf 860 Personen pro Stunde.Rund ein Jahr später durfte Dorfpfarrer Franziskus Lehner auch den Betrieb der zweiten Strecke (Spielboden - Längfluh) einsegnen. Yes, the art of pure swiss ropeways is dying. Von Roll and Garaventa are consumed by Doppelmayr, Giovanola is out of business as is Gerhard Muller, who the hell knows what happened to Bell Maschinenfabrik, Stadeli and Kupfer were consumed by Garaventa(who were thankfully still themselves at the time), and Bartholet use Austrian grips. Just one VR102 remains. Only Muller T-Bars remain in Switzerland, 2 final Muller gondolas are in Spain and Mexico, with a classic Muller chairlift in Sweden, only 1 VR101 in Europe in Czech(Krupka), just a handful of old 1960's Von Roll reversing cable cars, no Wallmannsbergers remain in Switzerland, only 4 Giovanolas remain(3 working, 1 abandoned), but thankfully there are still several Stadeli lifts around, along with plenty of real Garaventa lifts. (Garaventa built their last lift in 2005.)

Even though Garaventa got bought, they still make ropeways along with garaventa so technically garaventa still exists The remaining brands: Doppelmayr Garaventa Bartholet Leitner
