GONE

Hello everyone,
This video is a project I did for one of my film studies class. I had to portray an emotion I am familiar with. Even though, I have never experienced a loss like this. I wanted to use this opportunity to showcase an emotion all of us are bound to feel one day. I cannot fathom the thought of losing my cats one day. I am sure all of us can relate to this, which is why I made this video.
Also, my cat is doing well. He is alive and kicking. 🥰

A few years ago, we lost 3 of our cats to panthers. Before that, they had open at will access to come and go as they wanted. Then, in very short order, 3 of our senior cats, all over 20 years old, faded away. We went from 8 to just 2. It was horrible and heartbreaking. But, a neighbor dropped 3 littermates on us and just recently a tiny little jet black kitty literally came to our door. We now have 6 totally indoor cats. I love them and treasure them and I will tell you this, they take such a huge piece of our hearts with their little paws when they go, but they're keeping them safe till you and I see them in a far better place.

My pets have passed over rainbow bridge. They were like family. Their passing was very very sad for me. I had my big red tabby for 17 years. He looked very much like the cat in this video He was a very smart guy and a lot of fun to be with. He's been gone since 2015 and I think about him every day still.

I totally get the Gone.....after so many years their habits are woven into the fabric of our every day life, making their absence starkly felt. The empty chair really got me. Bonita was 18.5 years and my Mike was 17. Thats a lot of cat fabric in my life and so you have my deepest sympathy and understanding of your loss. I know that feeling back in 2017 lost my first Cat, last year in October lost my second cat to cancer & it's heart breaking, but in my heart of greats knew there was another Cat waiting for a loving family & a warm home & so went to the shelter & ADOPTED MY THIRD Catm it doesn't mean that I forgot the one I lost last year she will always be in my heart & so will my first one be forever in my ♥ I believe she will forgive me for adopting another Cat because she understands that I'm needed & so is the Cat needs me, both of them will be waiting by the door when I'm called to heaven❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I lost my cat in November, he was only 4, he went out one day and never came back, got a call from the vet to say he had been hit by a car and didn't make it. This video really sums up how it is, they are everywhere and then suddenly these normal places become so sad and meaningful.

@@cynthialewis8532 OK I will go into more detail, he was actually next doors cat, I just fell in love with him and we had a special bond which got stronger and stronger over the years. I had no control over where he went, could hardly shut in someone elses cat. It is the most profund loss I have ever felt, I lost my Dad to cancer in 2021 and losing my best little furry friend hit me way worse, I didn't get out of bed for a month. I still cry for him every day and look at his pictures. It happened on the 23rd of November last year. The reason this video even got recommended to me was because I was trying to find youtube videos of how to cope with loss. How about we be a little bit more sensitive with our comments?

It is said "Don't have them... if you can't bear to lose them." It is just brutal, how I miss Graydee and Graycee and she is gone over 4 years now. Some say you should just go out and fall in love with another one and I like that idea.

What a wonderful tribute to your baby. Always know that they are with you still watching over you until it is your turn when they will come back over the Rainbow Bridge to help you crossover. Also. don't be so surprised when it is quiet at home and you think you heard them, smelled them, or even feel them like they are still there because they are. Once they crossover, they keep watching you from above and every mow and again Gid let's them cone down to check on you to make sure you are alright. It has always happened to me and what a joyous and happy cry moment. My dog, Scruffer* (Sruffy) still occasionally visits. She gets right uo on the bed next to ke especially when zi am hoping through a rough patch and I can literally feel her head on my lap curled up right next to me in my bed. She has been gone for about 10 yes now but it still feels like yesterday when she bidets. They know when we still need them. Of that I am very certain. Celebrate these life always. They are never truly hone because they are still very much present in our minds and definitely definitely our hearts. Sorry for your loss. I understand your point of view. And I have lost my pet animals in my childhood. I can not say I remember much of the pain or sadness from that time. But I can definitely tell you my current feelings for my cat. The video is just a glimpse of what we could feel. Also please understand people cope with their emotions differently than other. You are right, but I am not wrong either.
