Another great one dear Baron! Yet again you fail to disappoint. Keep it up brother! Today a car honked at me, almost nudging my rear tyre on a 30 mph road, presumably wanting me to speed up when I kept the limit. This was on the busy city road, pparked cars on the side and no where for me to go. I actually flipped my visor, slowed down and yelled: -What is it young man? In a hurry to the next red light? Got that from you I presume...=) Btw, I live in Sweden, but said it iin english...heheh

I went to London for the first time a few days ago, it was a bit mental. When I got out of the kings cross the first thing I saw was a scooter clip a pedestrian who tried to cross the road slyly, he came to a stop and she ran over and tried to push him off the scooter LOL

Whilst I agree that the golf almost certainly went through a red light - the video CLEARLY shows that you did - you'd completely crossed the white light and had pretty much made it to the yellow box junction before your light changed from Red+Yellow to Green!

in some parts of the netherlands they have a system where next to the road there are small screens that have a speed on them, ex. 50kph. this means that if you drive 50kph, when you get to the next traffic lights they will be green :)

That's called a zig-zag line and you're not allowed to park on them so it keeps the pedestrian crossing clear. If you Google "Pedestrian crossings (191-199)" it'll explain them better.

At the bit about going the wrong way around the islands, I do this when nothing is coming the other way as the scooters did. I find it a lot easier and safer and can't see a problem with it. like i say, only if nothings coming the other way though! One more thing - 9:32 - niiiiice!

Took her out for a spin around the lakes; on way back to B and B clutch snapped!! Can only happen to me... managed to get her back safe to B and B; had to push her around the motorway junction then found a hill to roll down to get enough speed to fall into second; then took a nice country road around to come back at B and B from top; then rolled down hill... hopefully can get it fixed pretty quick; at least it's a fairy easy fix... just my luck...

Also - after watching your videos I still find it amazing how people in London just openly accept bikes filtering, even when your filtering has taken you to the opposite side of the road you are still within your right to yell at someone who cuts you off (granted)....but what I'm saying is I wish it was like that in Australia - if something goes wrong whilst filtering down here they instantly blame the motorcyclist.

I don't know what exactly those Olympic BMWs are used for but I saw one "parked" on double yellows outside the cleaners near where I live and I live 25 miles outside of London, but quite close to Dorney Lake though. Maybe the the driver lives close and was using the car for all his bits and bobs he needs doing, I don't know. I think at times the way you say things you sound like Gok Wan.

Baron; what gear do you use for the rain? After being out for more than 20 minutes in the rain it's usually dripping down my neck, back, arms and legs leaving me thoroughly soaked. I just did a 4 hour ride to work (only 120 miles!!) from Barnsley to Penrith getting stuck in rush hour at Huddersfield and Bradford in the rain!! Usually takes 2 hours in the car but went the scenic route; doh! Thankfully had a spare pair of clothes; going around the lakes later but gear still wet... bloody weather

Not so - the traffic light sequence goes Red, Red + Amber, Green. You went through whilst the red light was still lit (at 10:13 in your video) - not legal! The only time that the amber light is shown on it's own is in the Green -> Red sequence: Green, Amber, Red.
