As a mandarin user that last bit cracks me up real good, back in primary school (7 - 12) for 6 years we were still learning new Chinese characters and when we were secondary school (13 - 17) we still come across Chinese characters that still means something different (even the stroke of the Chinese character seems alike or the same) Imagine writing a Chinese essay, man those days in primary school couldn't write a line without the need to check the dictionary for some characters.

Some context which I think makes the "Bitch!" "Dialing Mom" joke better (paraphrasing since I don't remember it exactly): When he was growing up, there was a time when Trevor was stewing angrily because of something his mother (Patricia) had done. She stares him down and says "Say it." "Say what?" he asks. "Say that your mother's a bitch." Trevor's flabbergasted, but she's not done. "Which makes you a son of a bitch." He originally wanted to title his Netflix special "Son of a Bitch" to pay homage to that moment, but since that wasn't allowed, he instead went with "Son of Patricia", confident that she'd get it.

Credit is simple. Let me give you my opinion. The Biggest things are to have a mix, i.e.revolving (credit cards), installments (auto loans), and mortgage, but also a good length of credit history and on-time payments to your creditors. The length of your credit history is a very big factor. The last big factor is to have an acceptable credit utilization ratio, typically 30% or less on any revolving account, e.g. credit cards. You want your debt-to-income ratio as low as possible as well. You can add or drop hundreds of points in a short time just off your credit utilization ratio, all other things remaining the same. Most of the free credit scores that are available are not fair-Isaac’s corporation, i.e. FICO. But they will be close approximations. So they can be useful. In my experience your FICO credit score will be a bit lower than what the educational models indicate (e.g. credit karma). If you pay cash, you can’t build credit. Have no credit? Get a secured credit card. Within 6-12 months you will qualify for a regular credit card. Some banks offer loans that assist with this endeavor. My credit history began when I took out student loans. Don’t ever cancel a credit card unless you never use it and it charges an annual fee, otherwise you will reduce you average age of accounts (which lowers your score). Another thing, it is usally not worth your wiles to EVER take out a department store credit card. An example of when it is: some stores, like Macy’s, only give certain discounts when a purchase is made on their card. If you shop there a lot that can be a useful card. Otherwise, its too limited. (Macy’s does have an AMX card that can be used everywhere AMX is accepted). Use your new CC as though it is a debit card and pay off 70% or more of the balance at any given time to build credit (This shows responsible usage; no activity, like keeping a $0 balance, does not show any usage). I have a card I use for everything because it gives me rewards. But I pay it off in full each month to avoid paying interest fees. My rewards are thus truly free. However, my credit is satisfactory. To build credit, you have to keep a balance (30% or less) from month-to-month. DM me for questions, but I think this covers it. This is free knowledge gleamed from decades of experience. Oh, any agency that says “pay Us some money and we can fix or raise your credit score”, is preying on you. Without credit history, nothing else matters. Your ratios can change from week to week, the numbers only get reported once a month. But once you have credit history, you can drop and gain comparable points each month. YOU HAVE TO HAVE CREDIT HISTORY!!

Hahah it’s so true that Chinese is the most difficult language, I still remember how almost every class we had in pre school and elementary school were all basically language learning, grammar and writing, up until like middle school. I can’t image how hard it is for foreigners, good luck!
