Some good news you have missed is that a crowdfunded rewinding group in conjunction with the Icelandic government planted over 200k+ trees in the winter Iceland historically has been a very forested country however Vikings cut down all the forests and only .2% of forests in Iceland remain and those that do are often small or invasive

Here in Canada, Alberta, many old zoning laws are being changed and more missing-middle housing's being built! It's especially a breath of fresh air considering our current housing crises across North America. I know it won't solve the issue overnight, but, progress hardly instantly alleviates the issue, it takes time.

I am one of the people, that really need this video a pessimist, and as a pessimistic and aspiring fusion scientist: Fusion isnt fully clean, and limitless. Renewables are the way to go. Even if fusion comes we should use it only as auxilary energy suppliers.

The problem is not that it's quicker to buy new instead of fix old, it's CHEAPER to buy new than fix old. In the UK changing a jacket zip or dry cleaning a coat costs as much as buying a new item at a sale price and it's infuriating.
