How would you rate your own videos at this point?

I'd say that over the course of my channel I've moved from 0 to between 1 and 1.5 on an absolute, logarithmic 5-point scale. I know this because I've gone from near-zero views to a few thousand for my top vids. It's not hard to figure out whether your content is good or not once you stop blaming the system lol. That said, I wasn't a fan of the framing of this video; I'd rather you just give it to us straight. I get that it's really hard to tell folks, "You don't even know how bad you are." But that's not good news. Good news would be, "Hey, you've figured out how to make it to the next level!" Or even, "You are accurately judging how bad your content is." Even so, I do appreciate the work that went in to discovering exactly how terrible we are. 😅

I judge my new content compared to ny older content instead of comapring to other channels While I'm still working on my style and skills it doesn't do any good to compare and compete

I think it's good to "rank" yourself against your past self so that you don't feel like you're competing. And when you need new ideas you can draw inspiration from other channels.

when we can be comfortable being ourselves creating content, eventually our creativity will improve the quality of our videos. I find that focusing on serving our audience will give us the breakthrough we need, they can always feel it when we are genuine expressing ourselves

When you’re just starting out as a KZbinr, you don't have the same credibility as established creators. Remember, you don't need to be just as good as the best, you need to be truly exceptional.

Another thing to note is that we may not always have the qualifications and certifications to share our personal truths and messages, however that doesn't mean that we are not qualified or worthy enough to speak. Our life experiences and wisdom are enough to lead by example, this is what the universe is always trying to let us know

instead of comparing yourself to hers, perhaps you can see what she is doing right and well & also what you like in her channel, and see if you can integrate into your channel since she is no longer active Perhaps she got distracted or sidetracked in reallife(which is quite common for many KZbinrs including myself) or something happened to her 😄

When you lot says “niche” it always seems to mean business. Selling some service or product. What if you don’t know precisely what your niche is. What if it’s political? Why do these thing s always have to be selling? I’m not interesting in teaching people a hobby. I just like making videos and I don’t want to focus on one specific topic. Many channels I follow don’t focus on a niche. They just make videos.

Politics is a niche, think of it like a subreddit, The spot where people like you congregate.

some content creators do not have a specific niche. they just share what they like since they are a part of their life. People follow and subscribe to them because they like them as a person, thus they embrace their personal truths and what are important to them You can be yourself and attract followers at the same time without focusing on a specific topic. You will attract success when you stay true to what you want to share with the world. I will also be working towards this
