I would love to see a version that is more geared towards individual consumer spaces as oppose to larger industrial restaurant space. But still, it is pretty impressive machinery.
@goodbytz Жыл бұрын
Hi AmoAwesomeArt, thank you for your kind feedback. Our modular setup allows the appearance of the robot to be shaped however the customer requires. This version here is a back of house solution for delivery kitchens. We have already styled our system for restaurant, super market, hotel and corporate canteen use cases. The visuals for each individual use case will be published on goodbytz.com soon.

Other companies designed sort of arms that hang above you kitchen desk and do the cooking. You would just need to move you ingredient storage places like fridge into its reach.

there's also kitchen robots that require your intervention for steps but still make things very easy/simple/brainless, they take up a lot less space and are much cheaper, think the later versions of thermo mix, the xiaomi cooking robot, and the tokit all purpose.

As a Chef I say Useless, except in a Commercial setting, you still got to Prep the Vegetables & Meat etc, in Dispensers, If it was a Humanoid Robot, it could use a standard Home Kitchen, Appliances & get the Ingredients from fridge by itself ...

I would only consider such a device if I could simply hand over the shopping bag to the robot and it then prepares the entire meal. It seems impractical to acquire such a device if I have to first cut all the ingredients into bite-sized pieces. Additionally, its functionality appears to be limited to frying in the pan - but what about baking? Dishes like steak with baked potatoes and salad, lasagna, or pizza would not be possible with it. Even noodle dishes I can already buy pre-made and frozen, then prepare them in the pan in just a few minutes. The cleaning effort is also questionable. While it is shown that the robot places the pans in the dishwasher after use, what about the splatters that inevitably occur during frying, both in the surroundings and inside the robot itself? In my own kitchen, I would clean these up immediately. However, if the robot is left dirty, I would feel uncomfortable consuming food prepared there - it seems unhygienic. Furthermore, it is not very appealing to spend two hours every day cleaning the machine and ultimately almost preparing the dish myself by prepping everything, just to end up frying noodles. No thanks, that's not for me. I view this with similar skepticism for a business, as it can only prepare similar noodle dishes or other pan-cooked meals. If multiple companies were to rent such a device, they would offer a limited selection of recipes that compete strongly with each other and may ultimately not attract enough customers, as they also want to eat something other than noodles and stews.

In my perception I don't see it being that useful. It seems to only mix ingredients and heat them. I believe I can do it myself, so for my home I would not buy that. I would maybe buy one of those humanoid robots that can do chores. What I am trying to say is, I don't see the problem this machine solves. There probably is one, but I could not see it myself or in the ad, the use case

Why do I have the feeling l, a kitchen operator will have to double as a repairman to give a return to investors, with this delacate system?
@goodbytz Жыл бұрын
Hi Vagolyk, the deployed robots are usually being used in the aerospace and automotive industry. In combination with our data analytics tools, we can ensure an increased robustness for food service operators compared to traditional kitchens. Furthermore, all devices (e.g. induction plates, dish washer, etc.) are controlled in a resource efficient way that reduce the wear of the individual components but also reduce the overall energy consumption. Hi Bud21, thank you for your sincere feedback. The food service industry is facing a severe labor shortage because of long working hours and low salaries. Our system is designed to support culinary creatives so they have the freedom to create new dishes, find new ingredients and focus on what really matters again: their guests.This way, we want to elevate the average dining experience to become more healthy, sustainable and fresh.
