I definitely had good results with that 'thinking of the outside of the circle', which is why I sent you a wacky comment a while back about hitting my driver really well and it feeling like a flopshot i.e. smacking the bounce of the sand. My awareness was on the underside of the driver tracing the correct arc but ironically had me middling everything with a full release, which I normally struggle to achieve. It's fascinating how just shifting my awareness to different parts of the club can change results/perception/feels drastically for me. Fun to experiment with how you conceptualise what you are doing like your different ways to conceive low-point in this video.

Do you have any videos with your swing in slow motion, I'm new to watching your channel and the science is spot on. I am trying to pull irons around the corner I'm getting better but I think some slow motion visual would help from several angles. Thanks

Hi Trevor - I have many videos where I slow motion my swing, down the line, face on and from above. I haven’t done a specific video on my swing in slow motion though.

Hi Stu, 2 questions: - the "four time rule" (spin axis - FTP value) is referred to a good shot with the driver? - with irons what should be the ratio? many thanks!

Yes correct (not taking gear affect into account) 1:1 with irons is a good start point.

Hey Stuart hope you're doing well I love the swing thepull swing drill with the driver but it seems I'm hitting everything out on the towing in a little bit low on the face can't seem to figure out what's going on got any clues I would appreciate any help thank you

Thanks Stu! What would you suggest to calm down a strike that is too much toward the toe? I've been doing the drill where I put two balls on the ground, one inside and one outside, address the inside, and swing to strike the outside ball, and it seems to work OK, but the hands are getting a little higher as a result. It's all throughout the bag, even wedges. I do play a draw, for what it's worth. The toe strikes on the irons are not very ideal, though 😂

It sounds like the blade could be a little too strong; I would try backing off the draw with a face to path adjustment and see if the strike improves. Outside of that without seeing you, Id be guessing im afraid. Sorry I cant be more accurate. Best wishes Stu

How does the Twist Face of Taylormade drivers affect/change this? In your experience, does the hit from Toe/Heel still have the same affect?

I’ve not tested the TM Twist Face - but there is no getting away from gear affect to some degree. As I mention, the impact of it is different for all clubs. Hope that helps.

@@GoodGolfCoaching Sorry, I'll try again: In the video you show -inter alia- two strikes with positive face to path value (one on heel, one on toe). Could you please explain what happens if face to path is negative in both cases?❤

The rule of thumb; heel strike adds positive face to path, toe strike creates negative face to path. Hope that helps.
