I was, like you, in the car business the first 10 years of my career. At one point I was a sales manager at a dealership, we had a consignment agreement with a lease company, we would process the lease returns and put put them up for retail. In 1988 someone dropped off an 87 911 cabriolet, guards red with palomino interior and top. 7000 miles and like new. I called the leasing company to report the condition and get the wholesale price. She told me $21,000. That was at least 8k under the market at the time. An hour later I called her and asked if I could buy it and how much? She said yes and your price is $21,000. I almost shit my pants. What a car,had it for about six months before selling it for $31,000

Colorado/Colorado 7, Trailblazer shared a common platform wit isuzu. GM went their own way with Motors sourcing the 2 5 and 2.8 from VM Motori an Italian engine manufacturer as it made way more power and torque than the 3.0 Isuzu diesel for similar fuel efficiency. Duramax means nothing to this engine just GM marketing for a diesel engine. Cheers, From a fellow caree
