Will the user be able to select which payment method they would like to use when using tap to pay? I see the option is there for payments in app, but I don't think it was mentioned regarding tap to pay.

Google needs a more concise way to explain Android Pay. Apple does a better job with this. Can we just tap and go like on Apple Pay? Looks like a lot of waiting with your demos.

Well you might be right Apple does do a better job of simplifying their products but that's part of their mantra Google does not do a good job of simplifying the products I give you that but there is a reason the lazy apple bum stupid people get something that just want to work and don't really want to understand like the Apple iPhone is let's see the iPhone 6 is 2-3 maybe four years out of date specs for the processor is dual core 1.4 gigahertz cortex a8 I believe maybe a9 whereas my samsung galaxy s3 from like 3 years ago has a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon at 1.5 gigahertz now I know what you're thinking Apple runs smooth well this is true but only software wise if you were to put my s5 from a year ago it being 32 bit versus the Apple iPhone 6 it being 64 bit on the same software exactly the same the s5 would dominate it sorry I lost track of the original. But I had to rewrite this article because it closing the main reason I brought this argument was to show you that while Google is not good at simplifying their ads they know that most of the Android users understand what they are saying, Apple thanks its users are stupid because it over simplifies things to make sure the dumb people can understand it, but that's just my two bits I guess it doesn't mean anything to nobody but there it is and I'm sure I'm probably going to get a lot of comments for this but just before I do just take and remember that Samsung fabricates well it used to the chips for Apple's iPhone now it is true the Apple designed it kind of but it was based off of IBM's power PowerVR and somehow translated to arm architecture. and also Samsung used to make their screens so to say that Samsung is not as good as Apple is really stupid argument itself because Samsung kinda helps make apple so I hope you all enjoyed this factoid , no this is not be mean to the Apple users rather just to tell them to wake up and stop being so lazy if you can't understand something do research if you still can't understand it ask somebody else and once you try it now I don't make fun of you if you can't understand it, but the thing is willing to try now for years iPhone users complained about Samsung being ugly and plastic and not premium feeling which I don't know why but after the pandering and whining and griping Samsung decided to make the iPhone s6 no don't give me that its futuristic you're living in the cave men age because you want removable battery and micro SD card, saying that internal storage is the future , that is a lie made up by the companies, to make you spend more money to get less just think about it . with the iPhone and s6 you get 128 gigs -format size =total storage of the phone with the s5 (and many others) you get depending on which versions are available 16,32,64,and maybe 128 not sure, on the internal -format size +microsd card 128 - format size

mitchtheh4x0r Sorry, I don't follow you. Its a huge wall of text, and it seemed to go off topic. Google have some amazing tech and services, but they just don't explain it or advertise it right. A lot of things they sunset not many people heard of (including myself, and I follow technology like crazy). Android Pay sounds exactly like Apple Pay, but Apple's explanation is so much to-the-point. Tap phone, tap fingerprint, then Tim Cook say "that's it" (short video on how it works). Not Google. Google also needs to simplify Hangouts and Voice. Right now I understand the mess but I hate having to deal with it (including the no group MMS/SMS with my Google Voice number).

Guy Techie I agree that google had a horrendous performance. They even clapped at their own scripts, like really?? And when they were calling out the merchants like NavyFederal, McDonalds etc, the crowd barely even wanted to applaud. The only reason i'm happy about android pay coming out, is that even More merchants will support NFC devices. Which in turn, i'll be able to use ApplePay in more locations than today.

Apple Pay is better with android pay your phone has to actually have physical contact with the terminal and it seems like you have to lay your device on the terminal throughout the entire transaction Apple Pay and Samsung pay is better

shon , It blows my mind how uninformed you are and also so sure about your stupid perception. No it doesn't have to touch the terminal, and you don't have to lay it on the terminal. It's just one of the ways you can do it. Both Apple Pay and Android Pay works with NFC, it's pretty much the same thing with sligtly different interfaces and looks, it's THE SAME technology and both works in places where another works because they are virtually the same. Get your information straight, you ignorant dummy :D

Funny watching through the video to the end, they present Hands Free, which obviously uses BLE technology (Beacon), but they never mention that!!! As I said, NFC is dead already... Beacons are coming
