I love the Pixel3XL it has the best smartphone Camera yes video recording is not that great but hey it's just that 3rd phone so they will improve all saying that the phone is not perfect but hey them iPhoneXSMax is also not perfect and we need to understand that Google is first a software company and not a Mobile making company they have lot of other valuable work to do for example Google Web search engine so Google need to concentrate on Mobile phone also that's why the hire the HTC engineers so they will improve in future and Quality control will also improve I'm a Pixel fan and Android lover so review was great no complaint about that's but please trust Google software it's the best

I think the Pixel line would be worth full retail if they priced them 10-15% lower. The hardware isn't the greatest but 3 years of guaranteed software support and stock Android are worth the cost of entry.

I currently have the Pixel 2 and is one of the best phones I've ever used. The user interface is so smooth refined, along with excellent camera and call quality, I can look past its somewhat drab industrial design. Quick tip, go to developer mode and turn off all animations and the Pixel is even faster going between menus and home page.

Great review and pretty spot on in my experience! I also got a Pixel 3 on the Black Friday sale. Definitely not worth full retail but definitely worth it at 20% off (200$ CAD). Coming from a Nexus 5 to Nexus 5X to now the Pixel 3, I've been hooked on stock Android for many years now.

I think one of the main reasons it gets criticized (besides being overpriced) is that many people expect a flashy phone that's full of features when they're buying a flagship device. It's problem is that it's a very solid but understated phone that just kind of goes about it's business without much fuss. BTW, this is the first video of yours I've ever seen and it's an impressive video. Subscribed for that alone and wishing you the best of luck. Got to cheer on a fellow Torontonian!

Great honest review. I'm happy with my 3 XL, but sometimes I wonder if I should of given the smaller pixel 3 a go. I love the large displays, but I miss being able to navigate easily using just one hand. 😁

I dont recommend the smaller Pixel 3 if you love watching videos because the screen crushes black so hard. Sometimes you cant see anything in a night or dark scenes. I returned it for a 3XL which has 10x better Samsung display opposed to the LG of Pixel 3

I love my 3XL in clearly white. It's the only flagship phone that has a super white back that wraps around the sides. I love using mine with a Spigen Liquid Clear case to show off it off. Clean af

So basically if your are a techie or phone nerd= Note series/Huawei Mate series. If your'e a casual/iPhone user (like most of everyone) than Google Pixel 3. I'm in between and I still chose the Pixel 3 XL, just love Googles vision of Android a bit better. It has features that I actually use and keeps everything simple. Something I grew fond of each time I used an iPhone although I still find iPhone's limited with customization. Don't get me wrong I appreciate what Samsung is doing hardware wise and software wise but I've used it before and just realized that I didn't use or want all the features they provided. Props to both Samsung Google and the rest (LG,HTC etc) for constantly making the Android community diverse and competitive.

I have the first gen Pixel XL, had it since day 1. You're right, despite the short comings of the device, there's definitely something about it. What's interesting for me is that, if it wasn't for the fact that Google only guarantee's updates for 2 years, I don't think I'd get rid of my phone. Somehow it keeps drawing you in. I've played with the new Pixels and I honestly don't care for them, specially for the price. But I'm gonna have to get a new device soon so we'll see what happens. Great vid as always.

Great video and review. The pixel 3 is amazing and that's coming from a iPhone user from the very first one to the Xs max (I've had every iPhone) this is the first phone that made me go to android. Which is why I had to comment, to say that the pixel doesn't have as much as a Samsung is a little short. The pixel can do 100times more than a Samsung phone, its stock android for a start so your getting the best android you can get. It's far greater than anything that Samsung or haiwei have and that's why I went with it. Cracking phone, great review just needed tweaking. Keep them coming though. 👍🏻

Those are Sennheiser D559 or D569. I bough a set and love them. Comfortable, clear and loud if need be. You can usually catch the D559 for around a $100 at best buy.

Good perspective I agree as I did like the 2XL until it slowed down after 6 months. I almost pulled the trigger on black friday for the 3XL, but too many issues and just for the camera was not really worth it for me. Got a 2nd Note 9 512GB, gave the 128GB to the wife... :)

Been using my S6 for 3.5 years and considering o switch. So torn between S9 and Pixel 3. I know S9 will be a better overall package and its gonna be cheaper but damn that Pixel 3 is really something. Plus though its not a big deal, I like the idea of stock android and not having to deal with all the extra stuff you get on samsung.

Yea I'm gravitating more towards S9, and even for the camera I guess it's pretty good overall. The reason I was so impressed with pixel 3 camera is mostly because of the front facing camera. I went to the store today and tried both of them for fun and Pixel 3 was really miles ahead so perhaps comparing the 2, Samsung does lose the competition but by itself it may be really good too. I do want to ask you about your experience with S9. My biggest concern tho is the curved edges on S9. I'm really not a big fan of it and even back in the day when I had a choice of S6 or S6 edge, I went with the flat option. It just feels really slippery to me, and no matter how good or cheap the phone is, once you drop it, you may have to pay more to repair it than you would've buying a more expensive phone from the beginning. It's not that I'm not open to trying it out but would like to hear your opinion on it.

Considering they're virtually the same price, Iphone if you're already in the Apple ecosystem or coming from an Iphone and like it. If not, I'd say go with Pixel 3 since it's currently on sale through the Google store.

I wonder why Google isn't using a consistent font theme throughout the Android OS. You will find a cool looking rounded font in Some apps, but in the app drawer it looks tall and weird. Google should give an option to change the system font natively.
