$399 is an excellent deal for the 8a. I would say even at $499 it's a decent deal. The reason i prefer the 8a over the 8 is the matte plastic back, flatter camera bar and you'll get a few more months of support. I'm trying to decide between the 8a and the 9. The biggest reaaon I'm considering the 8a is to save a ton of money and you aren't missing out on that much.

Must of been unlucky with the S24 ultras screen scratching had no issues with mine snd most reviews are quite plessed with the scratch resistance of it still the S24 ultra seems to get it from everyone lately it seems.. wouldn't mind the pixel 8a as a second phone though especially the smaller form factor and just to give pixel a try.. anyway appreciate the videos and the honesty you bring to your channel!

T-mobile still has a great trade in deal for the Pixel 8a. Trade in a select phone, and you can get it for free. They're even taking a good condition Samsung S9 (which came out in 2018). My question is, at this point in time, do you think its better to get a Pixel 8a (trade in + taxes and fees) or wait to see what deals there will be for the Pixel 9 in 2 weeks

Got my Pixel 8a through Mint Mobile for $399 plus 6 free months of unlimited data plan which saved another $180 for the year. Switched from T Mobile Magenta plan and I see NO DIFFERENCE in my service so far. Plus they are giving me $260 on trade in for my S22. I loved my 6a that I got on ebay for $10, but I had issues with porting over from T mobile. Regardless, Magenta cost me $2400 these past 2 years for a single line. Next 2 years on Mint Mobile with my new Pixel 8a will cost me $940. No brainer!
