My first google phone was the nexus 5. That phone was a beast. Then got the pixel 2 xl 4 years ago. Now rocking the pixel 7A. maybe i just got lucky but i never had a single problem with google phones. Looking forward to the pixel 9.

I had nexus 5, then had nexus 6. I had that nexus 6 for 5 years with custom ROM. Then got a pixel 3xl which I'm using right now. Had no problems. The nexus 6 battery died and a phone shop destroyed my phone :( loved that nexus. Was thinking of going for the 8 pro but love the look of the pixel 9 pro XL!

The pixel will be around for many generations, their pixel watch, and pixel buds are all great products. They also have stepped into the foldable market, along with tablets.

Hopefully they do base the Tensor G4 on the Exynos 2400. The 2400 has shown very impressive performance and efficiency, so Google basing their G4 on it would probably put them closer to the latest flagships in terms of performance.

@@joelconolly5574 actually only the 5g modem on the exynox 2400 is bad compared to qualcomm's offering. the cpu and gpu performance of exynox has been really competitive with qualcomm this year. all google has to do is to use either a qualcomm or a mediatek modem and they are good to go.

I use Samsung s20 Ultra but i want to Switch to Pixel 9 pro XL when it comes out. I Just don't Like Samsung practices anymore. As for the resale value, you are Not forced to trade in, you can always use eBay Kleinanzeigen or normal eBay to sell it. On normal eBay you can also Set a Minimum selling price, and If you get bids above that, good.

Yeah , I actually liked it going all the way across , it doesn't really look more premium to me , it just looks different, and not in a good way, personal preference. If the XL model is actually bigger rather than smaller that's cool , it looked in the video clip like it has a curved edge screen , that's a fail in my book and a deal breaker .

If they're basing the G4 on the Exynos 2400, it's probably going to be very good. The 2400 has shown level battery efficiency to the 8 Gen 3 and very good GPU performance as well.

Really do not like how it looks. I don't care for the rounded edges and the chunky sides. Looks fat like it needs to go to the gym and go on a diet 😂. Also as much as I love my Pixel 7 Pro and was going to get the 9 pro I have to say hard pass. I can't believe they ruined the look and unless they get rid of the Samsung chips I'm not going to pay these high prices. When my 7 pro came out it was a lot cheaper but now that they want this much for an inferior chip I could just go buy a one plus for same money and way better chip.

Google NEVER supports what they start! Google makes the WORST phones EVER. I had high hopes for the Pixel one. Google THEN said they were no longer going to provide security updates to their OWN phone. SO I had to get a pixel 4. the pixel 4 shuts off half the time during transitions on youtube videos, like if it goes from dark to light it just rested. The phone is so bad in so many ways, its completely dysfunctional and they will most certainly avoid covering you with security updates F Pixels Crap!

Portrait mode is fake unless it is natural shallow depth caused by a large aperture. Which neither Apple or Samsung really do. Xiaomi is the only one where the lens can capture this without software tricks.
