I have issue with my new GoPro 10 . My previous cam was GoPro session 5 and i had Samsung Evo 256sd card the best reccomended sd card for GoPro cam. The problem with new gopro 10 is that when I connect cam to PC quick app GoPro don't see any media on that sd card and shows 0 and doesn't want to download my files to GoPro quick app. I never had this issue with same sd card in my session 5 cam. So now in order to transfer files from sd card to pc is I have to use usb sd card reader which is annoying. Do you know what might be the issue here and why GoPro quick doesn't recognize this sd card in GoPro 10?

I think the hardest thing for most people it’s not shooting the video but editing and turning it into something watchable that you can share with friends or on KZbin, that’s my biggest problem anyway and I used to be a professional wedding videographer, but to me anyway camcorders were much easier to make good videos in post, you could stop the camcorder and pick up where you left off, simple for a simpleton like me😮

I transfer all my footage, from both my cameras, from the SD into an San Disk Extreme, 1TB, and then work from there in LumaFusion. Keeps the memory on the iPad from filling up, and allows me to edit in native format shot…Can you work directly from the quick app, directly to LumaFusion?

Sometimes a differing perspective is nice but not as a full time Dash cam! Here is an example of what I can do with my Hero8/11’s: 1 piece of AstroTurf, size approx 3x3 inches square. 2x pieces of lightweight 1/4” wood (I.E., pine) angle cut from point to approx 2-3 inches height and 6” inches length. Glued with popsicle sticks into a ramp. The ramp serves as unobtrusive cover for the GoPro. A small battery supply connected via short length of wire (USB to USB C, for example) to provide ample power continuity to the GoPro camera. The set up is placed approximately 10 feet forward of the pee wee/little league batter box. A video of all the kids when at bat is a treasure! All parents must sign to approve each child or the video, of the disapproving parents, is deleted! A keepsake video for the parents, as all kids are permitted how ever many swings to make a connect with the ball! This can be set up easily for an actual game or even just a practice session!

Just got my Hero10black How come the quik app uses so much storage on my iPad and iPhone, I have a year subscription for the quik app, but but it uses so much of the Storage on my Devices, how do I avoid this from happen. On my iPhone it took up 102GM and for my iPad it’s taking up 97gb of space.

Update, tried usb c to usb c from go pro max to ipad, it recognised in the photos app but not on the GoPro ‘quik’ app. In the photos app it only showed 5 short videos that aren’t even on the camera anymore but not the 13 recent videos I made ? I know they’re on the camera because when I swipe up I can see them. Please help, I’ve tried contacting GoPro customer services and spent 45 mins on the phone to someone who kept suggesting to uninstall and reinstall the app, then told me he’d get an expert to look into it and get back to me ( that was 2 days ago ). I’m currently on a ski holiday and not using the nearly £500 action camera I bought because I can’t get the videos I make off the camera onto any editing platform Many thanks

Everybody keeps talking about the quick app what they don’t tell you is when your even tryna download from your go pro to quick app its takig up your iphone space so you cant even download all the footage without your phone being at max capacity an them when your phone space is to full nothing works as it is im just not understanding this app isnt helpful at all even with videos you can get from your go pro when you try to send them off it says here to long like wtf 💀bought all of these go pro accessories and I’m really not enjoying the GoPro experience Might switch action cameras all together

I’m having big issues trying to get the media downloaded on my app. I keep getting power reset notifications and if I try to look at videos on the go pro itself the screen locks up and I can’t do anything. My first video test, I transferred to my MacBook Air and it was "choppy". Not sure why. After watching this video, I'll go with the sd card reader to transfer to my iPhone 12 Pro Max, hopefully it's not "choppy".
