I got the HERO10 as an upgrade to the HERO8 and I'm well in tune with how they work, but for any beginners out there this video is amazing for an introduction! I couldn't find anything near as comprehensive and useful when the HERO8 came out, enjoyed the video!

I started off with the Hero 3+, loved that thing, then Hero 7, Hero 9, and now the Hero 10. The Hero 10 is such a huge jump from the Hero 3/4 you'll be blown away!

Sure, there is a GoPro remote, as well as a few 3rd party remotes. Though I find the most convenient way is using the app on my phone.

I would go with the GoPro Hero 11 to be honest, and I'd wait till September as I'm pretty sure they'll drop the Hero 12 soon and the Hero 11 will drop in price. You could also look at the DJI Action 3 which is an excellent action camera, and for motorbikes great as when you press REC live view still works, unlike the GoPro so you can control what you're recording on your phone.

I'm looking at the GoPro 10. To me, I'd keep the setting of 4K recording instead of the 5.3K. Does the 4K recording differ any differently, as in the size of the recording compared to 5.3K? I think 4K would be the standard I'd keep. Go Pro 10 is the one I can afford but I'll need to save up for it.
